An apartment in the heart of Dingle, a few minutes walk to the sea. It has one double bedroom, one single bedroom. The living room and full kitchen are combined. It is a quiet space with free wifi, no TV and invites you to rest and BE.
Besides the two separate bedrooms there is also a sofa bed in the living room. But as the Flat is small I'd like to usually rent it to two people only.
There is a dehumidifier in the flat as well as electric heaters for cooler weather.
The Flat has a separate entrance and no amenities have to be shared. At times the garden of the Meditation Centre can be used.
Interaction with Guests
I like to know my guests, but I would usually not have much interaction. I would usually be available for advice and support if necessary.
The neighborhood is generally quiet and peaceful. The Flat faces the back of John Street.
Getting around by foot is best in Dingle, but to explore the western part of the Peninsula you'll need a car or rent a bycicle in town.
Other Things to Note
There's a new beautiful Gym right beside the Little Flat. Private parking is available beside the Flat.
I'm open to give a special rate for those who travel alone and stay by themselves in the flat.
I expect guests to be respectful and take care of the Little Flat. As it is at times used for people who come here to meditate it has a special energy which I like to be maintained. Smoking is not allowed, but there is outside space for it. A small dog might be allowed at times, but there are several cats in the neighborhood, so it would have to be supervised at all times.
Eva was there to meet us and was very warm and friendly. The apartment was just what we were looking for, cosy, warm and the location could not have been better in the centre of Dingle with parking just to the rear. Had the weather been better (hopefully next time) we could have sat in the garden and there was a friendly horse in the neighbouring field. Eva responded by text quickly when we had a question which was great. I'd have no hesitation in recommending the Annex flat and the price too was very reasonable.
Eva is fantastic and was very caring about my experiences both inside and outside of the flat. A great hostess. The flat is large and well cared for.
We loved our stay at Eva's 'little' flat. It's so homely and comfortable, with everything we needed. And a short stroll to some great pubs with trad music. Eva was really lovely and very easy going. She even offered us the use of her lovely garden.
Communication was always prompt and easy. There's free parking at the gate.
A great place to stay on Dingle. I hope we'll be back one day.
Thanks Eva :-)
Eva's flat is of great value especially for those on a travel and the best location to explore Dingle. Within a min to several popular pubs. The flat has a beautiful garden in the back where you can relax. Her friend Blaithin was there to help us out. A sweet lady. TY Eva and Blaithin.
We had a lovely stay in Eva's flat, the location is great for the town. There was everything we needed included and it was great value. Eva went out of her way to ensure that we could get access to the flat, even after we arrived late due to traffic. Thanks for a fabulous stay
Eva was very welcoming and showed us all the ins and outs of the "Little flat".
Eva was helpful and welcoming. She met us and guided us to the flat once we arrived in Dingle. She filled us in on the heating system, w/d, etc. The listing description and photos are accurate. This funky little flat worked perfectly for our visit to Dingle, Inch Beach (Eva's excellent suggestion), and the Dingle Peninsula. It is very convenient to restaurants, pubs with great traditional music, groceries, and shopping.
I'm Swiss, living in Ireland since 2003. I'm running a little meditation center, teaching mindfulness meditation and stress reduction. I'm using the Annex for people to stay when they come on retreats, but as it is often not used and a lovely, simple space in the heart of Dingle, I'd like to offer it for those who come to visit this special area and who want a quiet space in town. The annex does not lend it self for partying, but rather for resting after a day out on one of the festivals or after hiking or exploring the area in other ways.I myself am hiking with the Dingle Hill Walking Club - visitors are welcome on our Sunday walks. I swim inside and when I'm really up for it also in the sea. I'm busy teaching and love my work. If you want to drop in to a meditation session, you are welcome to do so.
