Sure it's convenient, just one stop away from Manhattan on the L or JMZ trains. Of course, it's right off of Bedford Ave., surrounded by trendy restaurants, shops and bars, and fun creative people, but more importantly this apartment is comfortable and adorable. It's an antidote to the mean city streets.
The whole apartment is full of sunlight! The 1 bedroom is huge and has four windows. The room itself is about 22 X 14. It has a double bed, an antique rocking chair, and two desks and a computer with internet. The living room is smaller but cute and has a sofa/bed, a TV with dvd player. This area opens up into the eat in kitchen with windows. And finally- the bathroom is also massive with a claw foot tub and art deco vanity and of course, lots more sunlight.
No smoking ever. But there is a fire escape and the roof access is right outside and has a great view of the entire Manhattan skyline and Williamsburg Bridge.
This is a really fun and friendly neighborhood. I love living here and friends love to come and visit. The whole apartment has great energy and character.
Please no smoking inside. I really care about where I live so please try not to break anything or if you do- definitely let me know!
Carolyn's apartment is really in the best location. Bedford Avenue with cute shops and restaurants is just around the corner, I recommend also walking around Berry St, since there are so good restaurants around.
Carolyn's apartment was exactly like in the pictures, it's charming and retro. It's also quite comfortable, especially the electric blanket.
As a host Carolyn was very helpful and easy to reach, I highly recommend her apartment if you want to explore Williamsburg.
Carolyn is super friendly and even our bad flight delay was no problem for her. She just waiting for us. The apartment is very loving and gracefully and makes you feel immediately at home. A great starting point for all the important things in Brooklyn and the optimum step to Manhattan. We will gladly come again. Greetings from Berlin, Germany. Elena + Mathias.
We stayed at Carolyns cosy place for 7 days. The location is close to the subway. It is just a quick walk. Also restaurants, grocery stores and cafés are very close and reachable in foot.
Carolyn has a fully equipped kitchen, so that we could have a small breakfast before exploring the city. For some it might be a bit noisy at night, but after walking the whole day, we slept very good in the comfy bed.
Carolyn was very nice and helpfull before and during our stay. Thanks a lot!
We really enjoyed our stay! Carolyn was very friendly and welcoming and when we contacted her during the week because there was a problem with the wii fi she took care of it straight away.
The flat is in a great location (max 7-10 min walk to subway station) and near good cafe's, bagel places and restaurants, but it is located just next to Williamsburg bridge which means that the noise from the subway is present. The flat is small and cozy with lots of atmosphere. The bed is quite small.
All in all we had a great time!
My friend and I stayed 2 nights at Carolyn's apartment. Carolyn was flexible, super nice and very helpful. She is very easy to reach if you have a question. The apartment is super cute and located 5 minutes walk from Bedford Avenue with all the great cafes, stores, restaurants. You can even walk to Manhattan via the Williamsbrug Bridge. The closest subway is about 5-10 minutes walk. Great location and great host made for a great week end.
Carolyn was very helpful. We were actually using her place for a small photoshoot and she went out of her way to bring us the keys of her apartment! The apartment is very cute and original, in a great neighborhood. Will definitely try to rent her apartment again!
