You don't see a lot of pedestrians in Nashville, TN and in the south in general. I walk around to all the places I've suggested to do so with no problem; but if you are out of the country and are wanting to explore the city extensively, it is easiest to have a car or at least a cell phone to use while you are here to access transportation and look at maps to get around.
Easy parking on the street along with bus route less than a block away through East Nashville directly to Downtown/Titans Stadium/Honky Tonk Bars/Bridgestone Arena.
There are cab services here but we highly suggest using Lyft and Uber for transportation. You can download it as an app on your phone. Its cheap and a much more dependable and positive experience.
There are also fun city wide bicycle renting stations- the closest one to us is at 5 points (10-15 min walk). We have biked all over the city before and had a blast!
Let us know if we can do anything to make your stay more comfortable. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets or smokers.
Please do not invite additional guests or visitors we have not been made aware of inside the apartment.

Please utilize the amenities available to you in our home- Bed(with desk)/Full Bath/Mini Fridge/Breakfast Nook/internet ect. If there are any further needs you may have, please ask and we are happy to do anything we can to fulfill your requests.
We are great housemates- quiet, courteous and clean. The same standards of house-sharing courtesies are much appreciated.

What a great first Airbnb experience! The home & room was very clean and inviting. Hannah had a cute breakfast nook set-up for us along with fresh fruit and a french press. She really out did herself in making us feel welcome. The location was great too, and it was only a $5 Uber ride from downtown. We would definitely stay there again.
Hannah and Justin were lovely hosts - their apartment is really cute and clean and they had great recommendations for places to go in Nashville. The location was in a nice area in east Nashville and only a short cabride to downtown.
Hannah was out of town but Justin (her husband) was home to greet me when I arrived and made me feel very welcome. The apartment is very nice, clean, and spacious! I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable place to stay. The bed was comfortable (and quite high off the ground), and there's even a sound machine on the nightstand (I didn't try it). A private bathroom is right outside the bedroom and very clean, shower was nice and hot. There is also a mini fridge for airbnb guests and a few snacks (e.g. banana, apple, etc.), coffee if you'd like to make it. I took Uber and Lyft to the Music City Center / Omni Hotel downtown and it cost about $10 during slightly peak hours, and about $6 otherwise. There are some good restaurants and bakeries within walking distance as well.
I didn't spend that much time talking to Justin just because he was at work most of the day and I was at my conference all day, but he and Hannah were a pleasure to interact with and were very responsive in all communications. I highly recommend.
Stayed here for two nights recently, Hannah & Justin really do have a beautiful home! I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Justin but Hannah was super friendly and accommodating! Also, their dog Emmylou is such a cutie!
Everything was so clean so massive thumbs up! :)
I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in Nashville as it's a great location and very easy to get into Downtown - I walked it in about half an hour but you ca get a cab which will only take you about 5-10 mins.
We really enjoyed our brief time in Nashville thanks to Hannah. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Hannah gave us many recommendations for dining and drinks, which proved to be really helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here!
About the Host, Hannah
My husband, Justin, and I have been living in Nashville since 2007 and we absolutely love it! We live in a spacious apartment in our favorite part of town, East Nashville.
I love working in the music business and my husband is a broker in the trucking industry. We met in 2008 and got married in a horse barn a couple years ago.
I am a Belmont grad and love horses and animals in general, red wine and musicals. Justin is a MTSU grad, has the biggest heart I've ever met and is a major movie buff. We both love cuddling with our nieces and nephews, laughing with our treasured friends, traveling and learning about places we've never been, the outdoors, being creative and good food. We make a fun little family with our 7 lb joy-filled Papillon, Emmylou.
Emmylou is our papillon and she an absolute riot! She is the most joyful creature we've ever met and definitely keeps things entertaining around here. She stays in our quarters while we are out and about so if your not a dog person no worries at all :)
I absolutely love hosting people in our home. Many folks have commented how cozy and homey our place is which is the ultimate compliment to a gal like me :).
Being from the rural south, there is definitely an earthy/shabby sheik feel to our place. Family is a very big deal to us, so there are lots of photos of our loved ones hung all around. We live on the top floor of a new building and are the only people that have lived in our place (we are non-smokers). There are also three doors to unlock before you get inside the apartment so it is very safe. Our hope is that you have a comfortable, memorable and enjoyable time with your stay at the Wakefields :).
We look forwarding to hosting you!
