Bright and happy studio apartment - feels light and airy in the trees with vaulted ceilings - couldn't be closer to South Congress and South First, but very private. Comfortably fits two, full kitchen, nice bathroom, and parking if you need it!
SOCO studio apartment located one half block off S. Congress, walking distance to everything. Capital Metro bus stop and bike share station on our block. Long-leaf pine floors, queen sized bed, full bath and kitchen, wifi and off street parking.
This is a great brand new space, feels like a large hotel suite in the trees. Perfect location for South Congress and South First fab restaurants. Easy and fun walk, bike or bus to bat bridge and downtown.
Full kitchen and bath, comfortable bed (with duvet cover - so all washed each time!).
Guests have a separate entrance to the apartment. There is a washer and dryer in the garage. Just let us know if you need to use them. You have two parking spaces available for the unit.
We'll interact as much or as little as you want. We live on site and usually do a quick walk through to make sure you're all set. We're happy to offer advice on local eateries and goings on.
We love being close to the shops, restaurants and activity that South Congress offers. We're a mile from downtown and 2.5 miles from Barton Springs and Zilker Park.
We are a couple hundred feet from the main bus route which will take you downtown. We also have a bike share station next to us if you feel like getting around on two wheels. If you have a car there are two parking spaces available. From the airport by cab (usually about $30) tell the driver you're going to West Elizabeth off South Congress. By bus, you can take the 100 Airport Flyer ($1:50 one way) to South Congress and Riverside and walk .75 miles to W. Elizabeth or transfer to the 1 Southbound on the other side of Congress. If you transfer you'll need to get a day-pass on the 100 for $3.
Andrew and his wife were incredibly accommodating and gracious hosts! Our flight was delayed and we checked in 2 hours later than we expected and they didn't mind at all. (Also, Andrew was thorough and timely in his communications prior to our visit, which I found helpful.) We only stayed one night, but we will plan for a longer stay next time we visit. The location is superb and the studio apartment is very clean and comfortable! I give it an A+ rating!
Andrew and his family made us feel very welcome in their apartment. The apartment is fantastic, well furnished with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Overall had an excellent stay.
Had a great time at Andy's place. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. I would certainly stay here again.
The apartment was just as I hoped it would be! Easy check in, clean and tidy, well appointed, comfy bed... Easy access, dedicated parking spot. I didn't need to use the kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked. It was a treat to return to a place that felt a bit like home after a long day away from my real home.
The location was ideal for my business trip. It's a quick mile walk straight up Congress to downtown. The immediate neighborhood is eclectic with a little something for everyone. Excellent food everywhere!
This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had.... the location was unbeatable, parking was a breeze, the studio was awesome (clean, cozy, and accurately described). Laura and Andy were on top of any and all communication. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting Austin. Cannot wait to come back and stay here again.
Had a wonderful stay at Andrew's studio. Seriously is the PERFECT location. He was very flexible with our changing arrival times. The studio was clean and organized. Def would stay with him next time in Austin.
Great first time experience with Airbnb. Host and loft were great. Looking forward to next stay.
Our family has lived at this location for 19 years and in Austin for 23.
We enjoy traveling but also par-taking in the multitude of live music opportunities and many great restaurants and food trailers in town.
I also ran my first marathon this year.
