Terry's cabin was lovely! Exactly how it was described. After some long days the relaxing and cozy cabin was exactly what we had in mind. We wish we had more time to stay and explore the property. I would reccomend it to anyone! Terry also pulled our car out of mud, and even hosed it off! (Keep your car on the gravel trails when turning around unlike us) He was a great host.
The description and photos hardly do this gorgeous cabin & surrounding property justice. We were already excited for the trip based on what we saw, but could not have been prepared for how relaxing and wonderful it was. The entire weekend it was so easy to forget we were in civilization: it's like having a cabin in the woods completely to yourself. The stove keeps the cabin nice and warm at night. The property is so much fun to hike around, wildlife included. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for my 30th birthday. Terry is very attentive and easy to communicate with. A great host all around. We had 0 complaints about this place and definitely plan on returning.
This was my first experience with bnb and it was a perfect introduction. My husband and I are on our honeymoon from FL and road-tripping down the coast staying at various secluded places on the way. Terry was an absolutely wonderful host from the introduction, tour, information provided was very concise so there really were not any questions throughout our stay. We only were able to stay for an evening and left early but after our experience, wished we were able to stay longer because it was just so pleasant. Our favorite part was the fire that was built upon our arrival down by the creek and the fireplace in the cabin; then the following morning running into 2 baby deer on the property on my walk to the creek. The neighborhood was great and the property is your own private area really. I also loved the personal touches included with the home grown apples and fresh flowers included in our kitchen-both fantastic. Very responsive and available prior and during the stay via text and phone and was very helpful in providing suggestions for dinner.
My wife and I had a wonderful time spending three nights in this cozy cabin, tucked away in ten acres of forest, streams, ponds and apple orchards. Our host was extremely welcoming, warm and attentive. We rediscovered the quiet of a cozy cabin and walks in the forest. Perfect!
Terry was an excellent host. We had some logistical challenges getting to the cabin and he was graciously helpful. He toured us around his 10 acre site and the cabin and shared some beautiful fresh Dahlia's with us. He was easy, responsive and friendly.
The cabin is as advertised: a cozy cabin in the forest. As good a surround and view as you could ask for. A private path down to a secluded river where Terry has prepared a fire for evening cozy. A great iron wood stove that is easy to use and keeps the place so warm we opened several windows.
There is a microwave and a little refrigerator, but no oven/stove. A nice shower - although as Terry mentioned it requires some nuance to get the hot/cold water dialed in.
We used the cabin as a base of operations into Olympia and to the Peninsula (the Hoh). Its pretty much perfect for that and I'd love to do it again.
Sean and I had an amazing time at Terry's cozy cabin in the forest! His property is beyond beautiful, he had a fireplace next to the creek, great trails to hike around on his property, the Atv ride was so much fun, the place was super clean and comfortable and terry was really nice and had organic apples from his apple trees picked for us, he also told us that we could pick apples if we wanted to, he was a wonderful host and was very helpful to answering any questions we had. We can't wait to visit again!
This cabin is beautiful! The setting makes you feel like you are in the forest-yet you are only 10 minutes to downtown olympia. Terry was so attentive and accommodating. I would stay here again for sure! The cabin was as described- maybe better! I loved it. I wish we had more time to explore the property but my schedule did not allow- though Terry was completely available to us. Highly recommend this cabin.
Thank you Terry!
