Terry's cabin was the perfect getaway for the hubby and I on our trip to explore Olympia! Very nicely located out in the country, but less than a lovely 10 minute drive to all of the grocery stores or other conveniences we needed and not much further to a wealth of restaurants! And so convenient to hop off onto the Peninsula, beaches, or Seattle if you are brave enough to venture up I-5! But we never needed to...we loved the laid back vibe in Olympia/Lacey and even did a day trip to Portland which was less than 2 hours away! The babbling creek below the porch was so relaxing and a great spot for a glass of wine each evening...we highly recommend this spot for anyone who wants to get close to nature without doing the whole camping thing!

Terry was a very friendly and easy-going, very good host. When we arrived, he gave us a ride on his ATV to see the boundaries of the property. It's a nice piece of land with many big old trees and a creeck running through it. You have the feeling you are somewhere far away from civilization, but as already mentioned in other reviews, the town is only 15 minute away by car. The cabin is simple, but has all the amenties one can wish for. We didn't watch, but it even had cable television. We had LTE coverage with our T-Mobile (two bars), and my Kindle DX showed 5 bars (AT&T) so you have enough conectivity to stream Netflix, etc. The water is probably from a well (no taste of chemicals what so ever) and also the water heater does a good job for an excellent shower. The most important thing is the peace and quiteness, really priceless. We will definitely come back and I think the photos don't do justice enough to the atmosphere of the cabin.

Terry's get-away cabin was just what the doctor ordered. My wife and I have highly stressful careers. We live in the big city of San Diego and came up here to reconnect with some family. We've always wanted a little hide-away place where we were surrounded by nature, away from the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced world filled with technology and responsibilities. Terry is incredibly accommodating. We loved hearing the stories of his family and the land, how he built everything with his own two hands. The cabin is extremely comfortable and cozy. Our highlights was warming up the space with a wood burning stove fireplace and sitting on the back deck listening to the babbling creak, sipping wine, admiring all of the lush greenery. Disappointed to not stay longer, as it is still much needed. Thanks Terry for the beautiful experience. We're DEF coming back again!

This was our first airbnb and I was worried about it. Terry was really nice and made us feel comfortable. Terry let us check in early. We wanted to have a bonfire and he prepared everything for us. We are really happy about our stay and we would stay here again. We didn't take our bikes as we thought it is going to be wet but there were many nice place to bike and walk.

Great location if you're looking to get outdoors. The cabin is beautifully located in it's own private forest, yet really close to town. Terry is a wonderful host who was more than attentive and accommodating. The entrance ATV ride was fun and he even helped us tow our car out of the mud. Great place if you're looking to unwind.

Terry's cabin is a little slice of heaven. It's location offers peace and quiet, while still being within reasonable driving distance to all the adventures Olympia has to offer and in the surrounding areas. Not to mention, Terry is a fantastic host and thoroughly enjoyed the property tour. We would definitely stay here again if given the chance!

Terry is a great host. I really appreciated the effort he made to accommodate my late arrival - he even started a fire in the stove so the cabin was warm when I arrived. We communicated by text message and it was easy. The property this cabin is on is beautiful, full of giant fir trees and a babbling brook that lends to a lovely meditative background noise. I really enjoyed my stay.
