The rooms and other facilities offered have been used for our family guests so far and not professionally decorated. We have a common setup in bedrooms, bathroom, restroom, kitchen, living room etc. We are like homestead farmer with some farmland, cattle’s, birds, pets and a kitchen-fruit garden. It is a rural setup just 500 meters aside the Siddarth Highway that links Indian boarder to Pokhara.

The space
Since it is around 500 mtrs aside from the Siddartha Highway, the offered stay is cool to ponder within. One can enjoy around 30+ bird species chirping in the garden. Lovely cattle n pets following your movements. Different types of pests and butterflies flying over vegetable plants and more ...

Lumbini, the birthplace of lord Buddha is in 30 kilometres. One can take a bus to get there after 5 minute rural walk. Or can drive my 1999 model gypsy Jeep or a scooter. In the north you can see a range of hill forest and can drive up to Tansen, the nearby hill station at 45 kilometres. Better, one day round trip to Butawal (the capital city of State-5), Tansen (a beautiful hill station over 1000 mtrs altitude, Ruru Kchhetra or Ridi Bazar ( a holy place for Hindu pilgrimage) and Ranimahal ( an old fort called Nepalese Taaj Mahal) etc.

Depends on the taste of travellers, there are trail trek routes on plain forests and hills. A forest park ( Banbatika) is in 2 kilometres. A commercial waterpark in 5 kilometres and more....

Guest access
Guests can access all the outdoor spaces around my 2 acre garden and farm land. Can have a good morning exercise with my power tiller, brush cutter, manual traditional farming tools and even logs and carving/carpentry tools that I have as hobby carving.

Can have a stroll around the village. Can make interactions with villagers since they are open and accepting. It’s all of a new experience with innocence and natural.

Other things to note
Mine is a joint family. My parents, my wife and a teenage girl who stays with us and continue her schooling are at home. They all speak Nepali. They can understand Hindi too.

We are a common Hindu family. We don’t eat Beef, buff and pork but chicken is allowed. Alcohol is not allowed at home. No narcotic drugs, weeds or other substances.

I am living a retired life from the professional job since last 4 years. Now involve in hobby farming and some social services. I was an employee of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for 15 years and then worked with some development organisations for 6 years in remotest parts of Nepal, Humla and Jumla. I feel comfortable in meeting new people and sharing experiences. I am simply interested in arts and classics. I am open to all maintaining self-integrity. I refrain from unnecessary debate and conflict. Can’t be rude and harsh to others.

During your stay
Socialisation has been an emerging issue in lives among material world. Personally I preferred to head back from Nepal’s capital city because of the strong internal feeling that ‘happiness lies within’ and ‘sharing the within among’.

I am open to all peace lovers from around the world. I have plenty of time to spend with within my place. I will try to satisfy your queries as a friend and not as paid-host.

Let’s meet and share the time.
