This Tiny House is in a spectacular spot with a mountain view on one side and a giant granite cliff on the other. It is quiet, peaceful, with no lights or noise. It is small but has a kitchenette, bedroom in the loft, nice porch, tiny bathroom and a patio with a view of a field and mountains. Often people see deer, turkeys, a fox also. We are only 30 minutes to Concord and the Lakes Region; one hour to the ocean and an hour and a half to Boston.

The space
This is a 'secret' hideaway, but only 3 miles from rte 93, affording shopping malls, lakes, rivers for boating, swimming and skiing. The White Mountains are an hour north for touring, hiking and climbing. There are many activities in the summer: agricultural and craft fairs, music and theatre performances, festivals of all kinds.

Guest access
I own 23 acres with trails, fields and forest. There are many acres around this with few people (mostly relations of mine). New Boston Road, though a dead end, extends through the woods for @ 2 miles. I can give you tips on good restaurants, hikes, seasonal activities and opportunities in the area if you like.

Other things to note
We see quite a few animals: deer, turkeys, many birds, sometimes a fox, raccoon or porcupine, rarely a moose or bear. It is all very safe and interesting.

This land is very beautiful, varied with forests, huge granite outcroppings and fields with streams here and there. It is on a hill so has some spectacular views of the mountains. It was once farmland so stone walls run through the forest which has since grown in. There is an old graveyard nearby. My house was built in 1778 and we moved a barn here, built originally in 1780, so there is history everywhere as well.

I love to travel and have been to 24 countries over the years. I prefer to travel simply, cheaply, basic, and camp outdoors when possible. I love nature, kayaking, swimming and gardening. Hospitality is a joy and I am retired so have time for more adventures!

During your stay
I love hospitality and gardening - veggies, flowers, all berries and fruit trees, which you can enjoy and learn about from me if I'm available. I have a 'farm stand' on the porch (honor system) with homemade and organic jams and jellies, which you are welcome to buy, as well as any produce which is in season.
