One bedrooms available in a newly renovated two bedroom apartment, located in the center of Williamsburg! The apartment is close to the Marcy stop on the JMZ (Soho, LES, West Village) and to either Bedford or Lorimer on the L (Union Square, East Village, Chelsea plus transfers uptown to Central Park and Times Square) train.
There is beautiful natural, diffused light through the entire apartment, your room has two large windows, a full sized bed and a built in closet. The kitchen is small, but the appliances are all brand new, and there is ample space to eat and prepare in the dining area. The bathroom is gorgeous with a deep tub. The living room is spacious with mid-century wooden furniture, and a breakfast nook looking onto South Second Street.
The neighborhood contains some of the best restaurants in Williamsburg and cool boutiques, bars, clubs, and grocery shopping. Close by is Caracas restaurant, M Shanghai, Rye, Walter Foods, Diner, Marlow and Sons, Nini's wine store, C-Town and Food Town grocery stores, Nail It salon, Audrey Spa, acupuncture, Brooklyn Bowl, 24 hour shopping. Fun music venues are in walking distance; Williamsburg Music Hall, Glasslands, Chromeo. Plus you can walk to the Williamsburg bridge, Lower East Side, East Village, Soho... everything! I'm so happy to be here and would love to have you stay with me.

If you have a smart phone download "NYC Kicklite subway map" and (website hidden) maps. The Marcy Ave JMZ train and the Lorimer L train and the Metropolitan G are all very close.
No smoking, no (extra) overnight guests, please keep everything as clean as you would at home (or cleaner!) This means cleaning hair out the shower if you have any, and washing dishes etc.
Please take the garbage out with you, when you check out. Thanks so much!
Great location. Great communication. No problem checking in and out. Clean place exactly as described and shown in photos. I would recommend Ingefara House. Thank you Ginger!
Ginger was very responsive when we needed an apartment on short notice. She met us within a couple of hours to let us in and gave us a tour. She made sure that we had her contact info and checked in with us via email to make sure everything was going well with our stay. The apartment is lovely. It is the lower ground floor- so Basement level, but still has light and windows. The kitchen is nice and well equipped. The apartment had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The apartment is within a few blocks of the main stretch of Williamsburg and is surrounded by great places to eat, have coffee, and shop. All in all, our stay was wonderful.
For the cheap price a quiet good place to stay, but the bed in our room was a bit small for the two of us (two not too tall girls ;) ). we didn't use the kitchen but it had all you need for preparing food. The street is not the prettiest in Williamsburg but just a short walk away from all the important things (train, cafes, cinema,...).
We didn't meet Ginger but she brought some wine and stuff during our stay - really nice gesture. :)
Ginger was really easy to communicate with. We didn't meet in person but she wrote back very fast and answered all our questions. We even could stay an additional day very spontanously.
The apartment is nicely decorated and for us it was in a very central location (one subway stop to manhattan). For our needs - all time sightseeing - we didn't need more. It is a basement apartment and the location as such isn't so nice than others in Williamsburgh. It doesn't have real curtains, so I used a sleeping mask, as I need it to be very dark. We had the luck that we were alone most of the time, as there were no other guests. Thanks Ginger, for this first airbnb experience!
I booked Ginger's apartment for my mother and her friend that where visiting. The communication with Ginger was good and fast and she welcomed them at the apartment.
The apartment is ok, but not as nice as indicated by the pictures! It is situated at the end of the street very close to a big highway, wherefore the apartment was really noisy and the area simply not as nice as the main streets in Williamsburg.
The add gave the impression that guest where by themselves, if Ginger is not around. Instead, two rooms in the apartment were rented out and another couple stayed there. That makes the apartment very small (because you have to share the small bathroom, kitchen and limited seating. What makes it more problematic is that you can not even lock your room.
I would recommend it only for young, single persons or couples that just need a place to stay.
Ginger is such a sweetheart! Super communicative, sweet and thoughtful!
