Shoreham, Vermont, United States

Just 10.5 miles from Middlebury College and college-town Middlebury, Shoreham is a robust community in the land of dairy and cattle producers. Our Maple Farmstand is open year round as well as the Sugarhouse and Maple trail. There are two orchards - Champlain Orchards and Douglas Orchard. Apples, peaches, strawberries and berry picking is a popular activity in their respective seasons. Whistle Pig Farm and tasting room is located nearby. Cable-driven Fort Ti Ferry crosses Lake Champlain to bring vehicles and passengers to and fro from Shoreham to Ticonderoga, NY making the historic Fort Ticonderoga easily accessible. It is a delightful middle place to be near hiking, swimming and biking pursuits.
