  • Bozena's apartment private room and bathroom is very nice and clean, the location is also really nice, and close to Hoboken. To reach New york (Times square), you just need to take a Bus (Every 10-15 min) for 3$. When I arrived, Bozena's daughter was there, she gladly talked with me and asking some question regarding Jersey city and New york.

I met Bozena one day later, she was very nice and she provided me with a lot of information and places to visit (Hoboken, Newhoken)... I had the opportunity to meet other nice people there, as there are 3 different private room !

I would recommend this place !

  • Bozena is a warm-hearted host with good personality, respect, cute smile and welcome-hug. The room is clean and has nice color. The location of her place is definitely a good place to take a breath and get away from the hustle and bustle of the big New York City. And most importantly the surrounding is very safe.love you Bozena!

  • The place looks exactly like the pictures, very clean and comfortable(oh the bed is super comfortable), all the amenities are provided with good air con and nice and big private bathroom. Boneza is very friendly and helpful, she would help you out with your questions and requests. The place is 20 min to lower manhattan during off peak hour and around 40min during peak hour, reasonable time for a comfortable home close to manhattan! highly recommended

  • Bozena was a great host. The room was great. Looked exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable stay and not to far away from the city, just a short bus ride that only cost $3. Bozena was great, if we had any questions she was more than willing to help.

  • This was my first Airbnb so my perspective reflects that. Some of my concerns may be common to all bnb type accommodations. I was drawn to Bozena's room by the claims of 15 minutes to Times Square, so was somewhat put-off when my initial trip out there took 54 minutes. I subsequently took the bus both ways for four more days and can report that in weekday traffic the bus typically takes about 47 minutes, early weekend mornings it can be as little as 18 minutes. So it just depends on when you are planning to be there.
I found Bozena to be friendly and helpful, but I had almost no contact with her as I left early and returned late every day. The room was pleasant, with a nice west-facing view and spacious bathroom. It was, however, lacking in certain amenities that I thought would be provided. There was no reading light or lamp of any kind, my choice was five recessed lights at full blast, or darkness. Also absent was any mirror save for a high medicine cabinet- I had to use car windows on my walk to the bus to see if my pants were on backwards. Most surprising to me (although perhaps this is common), there was no lock on my door. Bozena has two upstairs rooms for rent, accessed off a common hallway, but also connected by an interior door. There was no lock of any kind (other than a doorknob) on this door (or acoustical separation), so the person staying next to you can just walk into your room. If I was a woman I would have been very uncomfortable sleeping ten feet from a complete stranger. (I was able to hear every word of my neighbor's quiet phone conversations with his girlfriend (I assume). While you can easily vet your host via reviews, there is no way to know who will be staying next to you. I was not real happy about leaving my computer, camera, etc totally exposed, but I had no choice.

I suggested to Bozena that for three dollars she could put a bolt on the door between the rooms, but she said that she had no intention of doing that and that others had stayed with no complaint (it was offered as a suggestion at the end of my stay, not a complaint).
Finally, Bozena knocked on my door at 11:30 at night, just as I was falling asleep, to ask to come into the room to reset the modem for the whole house. No big deal, but a little weird. I guess the bottom line is that you get what you pay for, and all things considered, it was probably worth it. In the future though, I will try to find a more expensive place in town to cut down on the commute.

  • Bozena is a lovely host who was available to answer our questions about transportation into NYC and parking. We appreciated the quiet and cleanliness of the house as we're a family with two young children. The location is ideal, only a short, convenient and inexpensive bus ride into central NYC. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend this location to others traveling with children.

  • The room and bathroom was very clean, location 40min to port authority bus station. And Bozena was very helpful. All in all great.

  • Bozena's location is not really far from NYC (it only takes 20 minutes by local bus to get to Time Square). It only costs 3 dollars per person and per ride. Be very careful with the NY cabs !! They'll charge you almost 100 dollars per ride from NYC to NJ (10 minutes drive). Bozena was helpful and kind with us. She took the time to help us and give us great tips about nice places to visit and see. We really enjoyed our stay. Concerning the room, we shared the 2nd floor with 2 other rooms. But the blue room has a private bathroom. The only "negative" thing is that the rooms are not soundproof enough. But we recommend this place !!

  • We spent an excellent time at Bozena's place. The room was comfortable and big enough to for our many big suitcases. A lot of closet space too. The bathroom was well-equipped with toilets and bath. We had chosen the option private bath. Bozena is a very nice and helpful person. She works a lot but she still found time to chat with us. Her kitchen was large and we ate there very often after coming back from our New York errands. The house is perfectly located if you want to visit New York. Less than 5 minutes walk away there are small buses which take you directly and very quickly in Port authority in Manhattan. From there you can take a bus, a subway or walk. 5minutes by car from her place you can have the most wonderful night view from manhattan. You can park a car quite easily in her neighborhood. We will return to Bozena's if we ever come back to New York. Brigitte from France 61 years old

  • Nice and clean place. Very convienient with easy street parking. Bus runs from the house to time square every 10 minutes or so, price is 3 $ pr person, it takes approximately 20 or 30 min. to get to manhattan. Bozena is very welcoming, and the neighbourhood is nice and safe.
