A lovely villa in the heart of Provence in Southern France situated on a sloping hill with a wide view of the Durance valley and the Alps rising in the horizon.
Surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and a series of genuine Provencal villages.
Our villa contains a large sitting & dining room, office and five large bedrooms plus kitchen and two bathrooms. Outside, there is a large private pool and sunny terrace with a 180 view and a private Boules court.
The space
This is a local village so we encourage families.
10 minutes south of Villeneuve we find the larger town of Manosque. Though the gate towers you enter the medieval town centre with loads of shops lining the narrow walking streets. On the route to Manosque is a number of large Centre Commercials.
If you don’t want to relax at the poolside for the entire vacation there are ample opportunities for engaging in your favourite sport: Bicycling and trekking, golf, tennis, horseback riding, sailing, canoeing and white water rafting, fishing and much more. Or what about exploring the nature: High Mountains or rolling hills, rivers and lakes, especially the Gorges du Verdon, the largest canyon in Europe, vineyards and vast lavender fields. Are you looking for sea and beaches, don’t miss out the white sand beaches east of Marseille. Here is much more sand and fewer people compared to the ‘famous’ places near Nice and Cannes. Try the beaches at La Ciotat, les Lecque or Bandol.

The house is situated some 300 metres from the village centre in Villeneuve. In the village there are café’s and a limited number of essential shops including a supermarket. The nearest larger town is Forcalquier, which is 15 minutes by car. Forcalquier is a typical Provencal town with sycamore-lined streets, café’s, restaurants and shops. The main attraction of the town is the Citadel, which dates back to the 15th century.
