This is a bedroom for one. The bathroom is shared with the hosts and includes a deep clawfoot tub. The shower is in the lower level of the house. The bed is very comfortable and the room includes a desk with Ethernet or wireless Internet access. There are two windows looking out over the lovely backyard. Common areas in the house include a living room, dining room, large kitchen with breakfast bar, and a music room. Depending on number of guests, there is also a Family Room with television and DVD player.
Continental breakfast is provided Sunday-Friday and includes a choice of bagels, muffins, fruit breads, cereal, and fruit. We make a larger breakfast on Saturdays which usually includes something with syrup--pancakes, waffles or French toast.
The neighborhood is perfect for walking, hiking and biking. Public transportation is just steps away. Both campuses of the University can be reached by bus. There are coffeeshops, formal restaurants, bookstores, a gift shop, and a children's store close by.
We love to have visitors!
Nancy and Dave are great. Feel like I have an aunt and uncle in St Paul. The homemade oatmeal was crunchy, delicious and just right to power me through the cold temps.
Dave andNancy are such kind and gentle people I found myself put at ease (email hidden)is was my first time using Airbnb and wasn't sure what to expect. There quiet attentiveness made me fell at home . I would definitely reside with them again should I ever return to St Paul
Staying at Nancy and Dave's home was very nice and very comfortable. I felt right at home.
The room was cozy & warm. The house was very clean and homey.
My hosts did everything they could to help out with things like directions and advice on where to go.
I also enjoyed the neighbourhood, it had nice cafes, restaurants, a supermarket & a nice health food store within a walking distance.
Thank you so much Nancy & Dave, I had a delightful time being your guest.
Had a wonderful - though short- stay with Nancy and Dave. The location was perfect for my St. Paul Campus meeting, and I had a cozy, quiet space for both sleep and work. Walking distance to the St. Anthony Village, where I dined at Mufaletta's the night before my meeting. And a nice visit over a yummy breakfast (wild blueberry muffins, eggs, juice, coffee). I highly recommend staying with Nancy and Dave.
Nancy was a wonderful host and I really enjoyed my stay. The locaton was very convenient and the room was beatiful and clean.
Perfect place for my stay to visit college student. It's walking distance from st paul dorms and 2 minute drive to minn campus. Beautiful older home, spotlessly clean (I wish I had one room in my own house half that clean). Dave and Nancy are very nice hosts, though I didn't get much of a chance to visit with them due to my schedule.
Nancy and Dave were great hosts. The house was clean, quite and very nice. I enjoyed some great conversation and breakfast! The bus was easy to access to go to downtown Minneapolis and Nancy and Dave were a great help with questions I had. It was like staying with extended family, they made me feel so comfortable!
Nancy and Dave have a lovely home in a very lovely neighborhood. I really enjoyed my time there, and especially how accessible both St Paul and Minneapolis are to the Anthony Park area,
As a bonus in my case, the Minnesota State Fair was ongoing, so since it was within walking distance, I worked that into my stay also.
Nancy and Dave provided a nice visit with really friendly and entertaining conversation - Thanks for the stay !
Nancy and Dave were fantastic hosts! They were flexible and hugely helpful in accommodating for my last minute stay in Minneapolis. Their home was inviting and breakfast was delicious. I really enjoyed chatting with the two of them, learning more about their story as well. Thanks so much for everything!
