Large double room available in a spacious apartment with great views! I have wireless broadband access for guests and the room I offer is a large double room with a king size bed. I would provide a spare bed in the room should you need it.
It is a 2nd floor apartment in a converted house with views of the River and 300m from Crosby Marine Lake for watersports, food and wine bar, 450m from Crosby Beach with Antony Gormley's Another Place Iron Men statues.
My apartment has private parking to the rear and has full central heating. There is a bath and shower, fully equipped kitchen and it is fully double glazed.
Breakfast available will be tea, coffee, juice, muesli, yogurt, porridge and toast. If you have special requirements, please let me know and I will try my very best to accommodate.
It's 10 mins from the station and only 15 mins to Liverpool City Centre on the train or 25 mins to Southport.
If the value of an Airbnb stay can be gauged by a return visit then I'm happy to say that me second stay at Emma's was a success! I stayed here with my girlfriend over a year ago for a visit to Waterloo for my niece's wedding. My return visit was with my girlfriend who is now my wife, to see my family over the Xmas holiday. Many thanks to Emma for providing access to her flat for our Xmas break.
Everything was very pleasant and as described on the listing. The flat was clean and comfortable, and the bed in particular was cosy, with good quality bedding. We especially appreciated that Emma had gone to the trouble of providing gluten-free bread and porridge oats for us. The quick and frequent rail link to Liverpool city centre makes this flat a good option for visiting the city. This was our first experience of using Airbnb - and we were very satisfied with it.
The accommodation was as described and is located in a quiet neighbourhood that is easy to find when walking from the train station. Emma was very welcoming and thoughtful; ensuring I had everything I needed yet I had so much privacy, as well. This was my first use of this site, I had travelled for 7 hours and to be met by such a friendly host was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or the accommodation and would definitely book it again myself, if I am in the vicinity again.
Unfortunately I did not get to meet Emma just spoke with her on the phone however she was very nice and pleasant. The bedroom and entire house was very clean and comfortable. A little ways away from the center of Liverpool but a nice quiet neighborhood that is really close to the a strip of bars pubs restaurants and take out places.
Our stay with Emma was wonderful – although we were only staying with her for a short time – we felt very welcomed and comfortable…
Her home was really nicely furnished and clean. It is definitely worth staying in Waterloo – as it is just a short train ride away from the center and is right next to a beautiful beach – which is definitely worth going to.
Emma also provided a good spread for breakfast –which I thought was very kind.
Thank you Emma for a lovely and easy going trip :)
Emma was a great host. My friend and I were looking for a place to stay the night before the LIverpool match and Emma's place was perfect. She even made sure we had cereal, milk, and toast available for breakfast in the morning. Her advice on exploring Liverpool was also spot on.
In a trip through the UK I visited 5 Airbnb hosts and Emma and her apartment were by far the best. Emma is a kind and friendly woman and she helped me getting around in Liverpool and Waterloo. The apartment is comfortable, I slept very well and I had a good breakfast every day.
Waterloo is only 15 min by Merseyrail from Liverpool Central (return ticket costs 2.5 pound) but also has pubs, restaurants and a cinema itself. And if you have time for it you can easily walk to the sea.
I very much recommend staying with Emma if you are visiting Liverpool.
I am a happy friendly host. I love being near the river, my favourite travel destinations are Barcelona, New York and a secret place in Wales!
I enjoy reading and hopefully you will find something to enjoy on my bookshelf, however, I'm sure you will be way too busy enjoying the sights and sounds of Liverpool to have time to read!
5 things I can't live without: a good book, a bar of green and blacks chocolate, real butter, pasta and hope!
