What a wonderful , helpful couple , understandable too. There whenever u need (website hidden) artistic cozy home with positive vibes, a truly dream house . Thanks for a great hospitality
Mira and Ryan were very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. Their apartment was in an incredible location on a quiet, residential street. We were one block away from Montana Avenue which has great coffee places, restaurants, shops, and even a great place for a massage or mani/pedi! The beach was only seven short block walk which was awesome. We parked our car on the street near their apartment and hardly moved it for days as we could walk anywhere in Santa Monica that we wanted to. I would totally recommend staying here!
We had a great stay at Mira & Ryan's place. The apartment was great, everything you could need with a cool vibe. Comfortable walk to the beach and to the local restaurants and bars. We were able to park on the street during the stay without trouble. Thanks guys!
This was the first time I used Airbnb and it was an amazing experience. The unit was everything advertised and perfect. Although I didn't meet Mira&Ryan they checked in with me to make sure everything was great. It felt like home.
We never met Mira, but Ryan met us on our arrival - and they were always available by phone/ text. Ryan recommended a place to eat which was cool, but we found an even cooler place called Kreation Kafe - highly recommended. The apt was nice, neat and clean & the location is perfect (truly an awesome location) and the garden made for a cool vibe. They were nice enough to let us borrow their beach cruisers, only they are little old - so you're better off renting. We had a couple of hiccups. Parking is free on the street, but go one block - same street and it’s permit. We parked late at night so didn't see the sign, and got a ticket. Would have been nice to know, sure it’s our responsibility but just helps when you are from out of town. There is also no fan in the bedroom, we did ask, but there was no spare. It gets hot in there so be advised, we had to open the window - but as this backs on to a side street with other apartment entrances - it can get noisy. I don't know if it was just our luck but we were woken up early in the morning by kids, and then late at one night to banging - and the next night people hanging in the streets talking loudly and making noise.
None of these are deal breakers, for the location alone it's a cool spot to to base your trip.
Easy, hassle free communication with Mira. Couldn't ask for a better location in SM. Charming and unique apartment. Great home away from home...

About the Host, Mira
Hey there, my name is Mira. Though born and raised in Munich, Germany, it is Southern California that I chose to call home, as I have been visiting Santa Monica since my early childhood. I have travelled extensively in my life and feel at home most places that are unique, warm and aesthetically pleasing. After getting my Master's degree in art history I moved out to L.A. and chose to work for numerous art galleries as well as operating as an independent art dealer.
Naturally inquisitive, I like taking advantage of all the city has to offer, including exploring new restaurants, attending gallery openings, going to museums, concerts, etc. and I hope I can help share some of the things I love about L.A. with you. At home I spend my time cooking and creating things, reading, watching movies and spending time with my husband and our dogs.
