This is a lovely (at least we think so!) 1 bedroom flat, which can sleep four (such as a family with two children). The apartment has all the amenities you will need, i.e. bathroom and kitchen with appliances, including the washing machine and (NEW) dishwasher. The kitchen is separate from the living room. Sorry, we have no TV, but there are plenty of books. There is wireless internet throughout the apartment. We use the flat during the university term and are happy to rent it out during the vacations, such as during the Christmas holidays and sometimes for weekends. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor, counting from 0 and it has no elevator- please take notice of this if you have problems with stairs. More details about the apartment are in the "house rules".
NEW: This flat suffered from low water pressure, problematic for taking showers. We have now installed a power shower which creates its own pressure, heap, works great!!!
The flat is in a perfect location for exploring London and further afield. We are located just a short walk from Kings Cross/ St. Pancras Station. Kings Cross/ St Pancras gives access to 5 underground lines, making travel around the city quick and easy. There is also the Piccadilly Line which runs through Kings Cross, taking you to Heathrow Airport. From the St Pancrass station there are trains which run directly to Luton and Gatwick Airport.
You will find all you need in the local area. Close by there are a number of food shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. The campus of UCL and SOAS are within walking distance. Camden Town and the world famous market is a short bus or tube ride away, or a 20 minute walk. Equally you can be on Oxford Street in 5 minutes. This is the perfect location for you to explore London!
Everything mentioned above.
I am a pretty good communicator, if you ever have a problem I am just on the other side of the email ...
The location is very convenient for the Eurostar train. The neighborhood is sort of bohemian, quite but not too gentrified, with art galleries (Gagossian just across the street), fun libraries, bakery shops ... And of course the British library!
This is one of the best connected neighborhoods in the city, King's Cross is basically on the every metro line and there are many buses too.
The small news (July 2014) is that we installed the dishwasher. Use it and the laundry machine if you like but please buy your own washing powder. There are many 24 hours shops within 1-2 minutes walk.

What a great location, so close to St Pancras, we could easy get around London, Shops close, great Indian nearby.
Had a few technical issues that Mirna was really great and timely in assisting with, so no real issues.
Clean place, great location, nice stay
The apartment is exactly like in the photos. Location is convenient and appliances in the apartment are in good and working condition.
This apartment is very much as pictured. Location was a benefit as it was close to bus and metro. Someone was there to greet us and show us around the apartment. Mirna responded timely to my emails.
There were no major issues, but I will caution guests on the following: the couch/bed was uncomfortable due to typical issues that come with a fold out bed. The other bed has a trundle, which does not "double" the bed. The place was generally clean but the floor and dishes were dirty. This was also the first location where I was instructed to buy my own toilet paper as there was very little left in the roll upon arrival. I was unable to find the hair dryer, but there were closets marked "owner" and perhaps it was in there.
The hair dryer was not in the ¨owner marked¨ place, it was exactly where I said it was: in the glass closet in the bedroom, accessible to all. I normally leave some toilet paper for the guests but can't really guarantee to go and get more in the shop next door (literally) for you when you run out: if I am renting my apartment out it is that I am not in London at the time! The criticism about the dishes and floor is totally unfounded, sorry about that, but see what other guests have said, we really keep the apartment and everything in it very clean. Finally, I have no idea what a "trundle" is, but the bed is described exactly on the web side and so is the fold-out bed.
Mirna's apartment is very quiet and clean. It's 10 min to Kings Cross St Pancras station and it is possible to get almost anywhere.Luckily, her apartment has cooking facility, we mentioned to prepare our meals & bought grocery from M&S in Kings Cross St Pancras outlet. Mirna is very nice and very helpful. She knew that I have to be in London Greenwich by 10am & therefore, she met me in Buffalo Grill Gare du Nord in Paris one day before i travelled to London just to pass me her apartment keys.
We spent a great time at Mirna's flat. She replies quickly and kindly to any message and the flat was perfectly well located (so noisy but it didn't annoy us) and clean. We really felt "as home". I keep this adress for later!
It was amazing to live in Mirna's apartment! So warm and cozy place near the tube in the quiet district.
There is all what you may need in this flat and it's really looks like you can see at photos in profile! (My personal love is the leather chair!)
There was a lot of shops and cafes near the apartment! Some shops worked 24 hours.
Mirna was like a fairy godmother for us! She is very helpful and kind lady! We had a little problem with a shower and very big problem with keys transportation, but Mirna found a great solution to help us.
Dear Mirna! Thank you so much for the best New Year in my life! )))
