Interaction with Guests
We respect our guests privacy 100%. However we are present and available 24/7 for any assistance you may need
Our neighborhood is safe, quiet and friendly. early morning walks are very calming and a short walk to the creek is a 'must do'
The best mode of transportation is taxi or rental, the latter being cheaper by online bookings. If you visit during our summer festival or winter season, securing a rental is best done in advance. Taking a taxi from the airport is advisable especially if you arrive at night. Parking is available right at the gate of Rosetta's gardens.

Cheryl was very accommodating.
We had arrived on island later than expected. Cheryl guided us to her place and welcomed us with opened arms.
She accepted our request to stay an extra night without hesitation.
Nice, quiet, breezy place is the Cockle Shell Suite; however, transportation is a necessity as public transit is a good ways from the residence.
You are in for treat at Rosetta Gardens.
Cheryl is an excellent host, and the accommodation is like having your own serviced apartment not far from the airport.
A home away from home…
Cheryl greeted us with hugs after we arrived a day late due to a cancelled flight and she let us modify our reservation to still accommodate the 2 nights paid for to fit into our schedule which was so lovely of her. We ended up staying an additional few nights because we loved the area and the living space.
First off, this is not just a room – it is an entire apartment! Downstairs you find a fully equipped kitchen with a small living/dining area and windows that open up and let in a fabulous breeze. The fridge was stocked with breakfast goodies (yogurt, coffee, eggs, bread on the counter) for our first 2 mornings which made it so nice and homey. Upstairs is the bedroom with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in, air conditioning, TV – the works – and the ensuite bathroom with hot water (and a rain shower!)
The house is near the airport (about 8km) and about 6km from town; if you aren’t opposed to walking, there is a bus stop to take you into the centre for EC$2.50 each about 10 mins down the road, however Cheryl was heading in our first morning and offered us a ride which made it really easy to find our way around and get our bearings a bit.
Cheryl was always around when we needed her and if we had questions but was in no way nosy or intrusive. She gave wonderful insight into Antiguan life and education and was a hoot to spend time with (we had wine with her our final night) and it was so nice to have her recommendations instead of being reliant on a guide book the whole time.
We also have to mention that living next door is a rescue dog that Cheryl looks after and he is the sweetest thing ever! In no way are you required to interact with him, but being dog lovers (and missing our puppy back home!) we loved being able to give him pats through (and over) the fence. The fact that she looks after a rescue dog proves what a big heart Cheryl has!
The location is excellent, the suite was sensational, the value was unbeatable and we are looking forward to our next visit to Antigua! When you stay there, give Cheryl hugs from us and the dog some pats!
My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Rosetta Gardens. The Cockle Shell suite was exactly what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the kitchen as we were able to cook up many creations with ease. It is a comfortable distance away from the hustle and bustle of St.John's and gives Antigua a small island fell. Although not close to a bathing beach, after renting a car the nearest beach seemed minutes away.
Again we had a wonderful stay and Cheryl our host was very warm, accommodating and pleasant. She made us feel very at home and welcome :)

I like comedy movies enjoy going to the beach, love going to soca shows. I am an animal scientist by training but enjoy hosting and interacting with people from all over the world. I often have to do a lot of field work with food animals so if you try to contact me and I don't respond immediately, it's probably because I am wrestling with some pigs or running around a goat pen trying to help deliver some kids! So please, don't give up, I will contact you as soon as I can! D :-)
I cannot live without popcorn or chocolates and often find myself wondering what the world would be like without them!
My mantra in life is "If there is a problem, be a part of the solution".
