This gorgeous 90 square meter apartment is located very centrally in the Trastevere area, close to Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Navona. The place is rich of restaurants, markets, bars, shops, attractions. It has recently been renovated by a world wide famous American Academy Award winner film director and is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building. The lower floor comprises of a large living room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen, a dining area with table and chairs, an elegant bedroom facing Vicolo del Cinque with a bathroom. In addition, on the other side the double bedroom, you find a single bedroom with a niche bed and a sofà. On the upper floor, by a wood starway from the single bedroom, there is a single bed with a nice bathroom. From the living room you can enjoy a wonderful view of Trastevere with its characteristic districts. The apartment features air conditioning, heating, LCD TV, CD and DVD player, wi-fi internet connection, microwave, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, iron, accurate lining.
Recently I renowed the living room with a bed sofà and tends in delicate colors. An ancient chinese lamp on a wood table gives a fascinating atmosphere. The elegant main bedroom (dedicated to Egon Schiele paintings) has a new window that isolate perfectly from the street noisy.
The apartment is very central, in any case, in the area, you can find public transits: bus, tram.
Excellent apartment. Very good location. Close to all attractions. Simona and Siviglia are very good host. Thank you very much for everything!
Simona and Siviglia was nothing short of perfect: Very good communication always ready with valuable advice. The apartment is situated in the very best part of Trastevere: Lots of bars and good restaurants and 100 meters from Ponte Sesto for easy access to the ancient Rome.
We had a wonderful stay in a very nice, charming and clean apartment in what we consider THE place to stay in Rome. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful stay. The flat is comfortable, welcoming, extremely clean and surprisingly quiet given the busy street below. We didn't think the noise was as bad as other reviews mentioned, and we stayed over a Friday and Saturday. Everything we needed was on hand (dishes, wine glasses, etc) and it was such a treat to have access to a beautiful little terrace.
Our check-in and check-out was smooth and easy with everything explained.
The flat itself may not be ideal for certain types of travel groups, as both bathrooms are located *inside* the bedrooms and not in a common area. Only one bedroom has a double bed, the other two bedrooms have single beds and are in fact attached to each other via a staircase. The other double bed is in the living room. This is ideal for a travelling family or 4-6, or group of friends, but not so good for groups of couples.
We were six girlfriends staying at Simona's flat and it was absolutely perfect. The location of the flat couldn't be better, the flat itself was very clean and convenient and we were warmly welcomed and given all useful information. Great place to stay!
We had a great time in Trastevere at Simona's flat. Simona.Silviglio, the "check in " person was also very nice and efficient. The apartment is well decorated, well situated , close to Rome's main places of interest either on foot or by tram...
The only thing is the noise coming from the busy streets, and also coming from the next door neighbours...Nothing unbearable but it seems honest to let people know about this.
Great place! I had a wondeful time in this great location just in the meedle of Testaccio. The apartment is cozy and warm, it shows the deep sense of beauty the owner has. Everything was just perfect!
Excellent location in Trastevere, close to the Ponte Sisto, the walking bridge, which will take you to Campo de Fiori. Not very large, but kitchen has everything necessary including washer and dishwasher. Decorated with taste, feels like owners did it for themselves. The streets can be noisy, but windows protect well from noise. Siviglia, the lady who met us, was very helpful in introducing us to the area. I would stay in this place again and I would recommend it to my friends.
Generally, the apartment in Trastevere was really wonderful. Amazing location, right near Ponte Sisto, and walkable to most of the Roman sights you will want to see. There are amazing restaurants and bars, and gelaterias within a 5-10 minute walking distance, and everywhere we ate in the area was delicious! Simona was wonderful to work with, and checking in was easy and seamless. I would only say that to say that the apartment has two bathrooms is stretching it a bit, the bathroom on the main floor is large and spacious, but the top floor bathroom is incredibly small and as a 5 foot tall woman, I could barely fit in the shower. The men were unable to even get into the shower. The water was also less than hot most of the days we showered, but the heat was very strong in the apartment so we made do! If you have two couples staying there, there is one big bed in the bedroom, but the other couple would have to sleep on a pull out couch in the living room, which worked fine for us. Overall, I would definitely stay there again, a great place in a wonderful area!
We stayed there for a week in last november and had a wonderfull time. No disapointments regarding the ad. Trastevere is a fantastic place and the apartment is very well located and confortable.
