We had a great stay and Patrizia was very sweet. She even brought us a pasqua cake. A very nice neighborhood too, and easy to get around.

We spent 3 nights at Patrizia's apartment. The place is located about one block from the Trastevere train station which is excellent when arriving via train or airplane. It is also very convenient as you can catch a tram at the Trastevere station into the centre of Rome. We had excellent weather so we walked most of the time. It is only a 30 minute walk to the centre. The apartment was clean and everything was as advertised. Patrizia responded quickly to my emails, met us at the apartment on time, she even offered to drive my wife to an electronics store to pickup and replacement power adapter for our laptop. Would definitely stay at Patrizia's place again.

We stayed at Patrizia's apartment from Oct. 2nd to Oct. 14, 2016 and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is in a great location with very close access to the Trastevere train station, buses across the street and tram beside the train station which is visible from the balcony. All of these can be used to get to the city centre and Termini Station within 10 minutes and cost 1.50 for a ticket. The apartment was very clean, exactly like the pictures and in a quiet building. Everything that you would need is in the apartment right down to umbrella's, laundry detergent, as well as spices, olive oil, and vinegar to help with meal preparation. There is a grocery store that is within walking distance and open until 9 pm. The apartment is spacious, charming and elegant and can comfortably suit a family. It is decorated very nicely and the beds are very comfortable. Patrizia is a class act. My girlfriend got a very bad cough and needed a doctor and Patrizia came to the apartment immediately and called a doctor who came within an hour. Patrizia went over and above to make sure that she was ok and continued to call and message throughout our visit. She is a very warm and caring woman and went out of her way more than once to make sure we had a nice vacation. She answered questions before and during our stay and helped us with bus routes etc. We feel so blessed to have met such a wonderful host and when we return to Rome we will stay at Domus Trastevere without hesitation! Patrizia you are a gem and we will never forget your kindness! Grazie mille.

Patrizia was a great host and her apartment lived up to the same standard. Everything is just as it is in the photos, immaculately cleaned, bright and even more spacious than you'd think. The location is also just as nice. On the edge of Trestervere and you can take a nice winding walk into the historic centre. There are a few nice bars and restaurant we found just up the road (Brasserie 4:20 and Magazzino spring to mind especially). Patrizia was a gracious host and my friend and I would highly recommend her beautiful apartment for your stay in Rome.

Hello I’m Patrizia a funny retired woman, since 2009. I have two older children, living alone and independent.
I have many interests and many friendships, but my preferred passions are travelling and my work as a clown in a children hospital.
I have travelled all over the world and I have appreciated many different cultures and I also had the opportunity to know many people.
Travelling I experienced many different hotel structures from which I took the best when I decided to begin my own business with Domus Trastevere
I really enjoy to accommodate tourists coming from all over the world and share with them the roman life style: drink and appetizer in a characteristic place, visiting a niche museum not yet discovered by mass tourism
In my spare time I like to take care of hospitalized children, together with other volunteers, and entertain them as a clown to draw a smile
