Our stay here was lovely. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was great with the buffet and the hot food. We were expecting a house and it was practically a hotel!! Amazing. We loved the bedroom very comfortable. The coffee and tea available 24hs was very kind of you to offer. Thanks for everything!!
We had a great stay. A nice location close to the park and downtown. Breakfast was delicious and the room was nice and quiet. A very relaxing stay which we enjoyed very much!
Everything was great! Norrie also took the time to show us where exactly we can go in Killarney's National Park and how we could best make our to Cork to enjoy the best scenery.
Location is great, just outside of Killarney and within a 5 minute walk into town. The room was great, and the breakfast was perfect. We were on the ground floor which was a touch noisy at times, but would highly recommend.
So while I'm not sure I met both John and Norrie during my stay, my time at Ardree House was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was lovely and cooked an amazing breakfast--and as someone who doesn't love the traditional Irish breakfast, I really appreciated the more than 5 hot breakfast options they had available. My room was clean, spacious, and more than anticipated. And when my hair dryer from the US broke down mid-trip, I was informed that there was actually one I could use in my dresser drawer that the B&B had already provided, which was a huge lifesaver. And the location really is fantastic, just a few minutes walk into the main part of the city, and also super close to the national park. If I'm ever fortunate enough to be in Killarney again, I would definitely stay here.
We had a wonderful stay at John and Norrie's B&B. Location is perfect. 3 mins walk to town center. Also, very nearby to attractions like Ross castle and Muckross House. Rooms very clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful and served a good breakfast
Good location just walking distance from town and big rooms. We originally scheduled the wrong day and sent a message to see if we could change it weeks before our arrival date and they got back quickly saying that everything had been changed. When we showed up though I was told our reservation was for the original date and that they could still give us a room by only because there were openings. I got the impression that had there not been we would have been turned away even with confirmation of the date change. A little disappointing. But beyond check in they were very nice and really is a great location. Especially if you are doing the Ring of Kerry before or after.

My family are originally from Killarney and have always been in the hospitality industry, including my Great-Grandfather who originally ran a pub and my father who opened a hotel in the town of Killarney
I also dabbled in the building trade for many years. However it was my lovely wife Norrie who teaches Irish Dancing who actually suggested going down the B & B road.....and we haven't looked back since!
