The accomodation was really good! Just a few minutes to the city center/bus station. Spacious room, private bathroom with bathtub and traditional furniture. Breakfast was also very nice. Good service and food, everybody was very friendly.
My girlfriend and I stayed with John and Norrie for two nights. The place is really awesome and it's located right next to the town center. The free breakfast was a nice bonus! Would definitely stay here again.
The Ardee House B&B was clean, and perfectly located just outside Killarney. It was a veery short walk to a grat town with tons of shopping, and restaurants. We stayes in room #1, which overlooked the mountains in the distance. The building was just off the road, but was pretty quiet at night. The breakfast was great, and the breakfast room was beuatiful. The overall feeling at the Ardee House was closer to a very nice motel rather than a B&B. We never met the owners, and the people working could only provide minimal knowlege of the area. Overall a great place, and great location.
This was a very nice B&B to stay in. It was within walking distance to anything we wanted to do in town. Very clean, and breakfast was good. We only ate off the breakfast bar of yogurt, cereal, toast etc., but saw some mouth-watering waffles and eggs being served as well. The only problem we had was with the shower, trying to figure out how it worked. Once we got the hang of it, it was okay, but no long showers as the pressure starts to back off and it's too hot after that. (Turning up the cold water only made the pressure worse). It was enough time to wash my hair, but not enough time to shave my legs, lol. All in all, a very nice place to stay.
The host on duty was particularly friendly and helpful. The neighborhood could not have been nicer and the proximity to the city center made it easy to walk to dinner each night. The breakfast staff were accommodating and efficient.
The B&B was a beautiful place to stay. Great location, right down the street from the small downtown, comfy beds, plenty of hot water for showers, big towels, enough space, yummy homemade breakfast! Thanks!
The Ardree House is a regular B& B. It is not a guest room within someone's residence as our other Airbnb experiences have been. The room was very clean and the breakfasts were outstanding, with menu choices including continental and full Irish. Because it was a B & B with many rooms, there was lots of creaking footstep noises above our room. There was no way to adjust the hot water coming from the shower and there was no heat in our room at night even though temperatures dropped below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The Ardree House is conveniently located within walking distance of both Park walking paths Killarney National Park and downtown Killarney. The shuttle bus will pick you up and drop you off there as well which eliminates the need for cabs.

About the Host, John And Norrie
My family are originally from Killarney and have always been in the hospitality industry, including my Great-Grandfather who originally ran a pub and my father who opened a hotel in the town of Killarney
I also dabbled in the building trade for many years. However it was my lovely wife Norrie who teaches Irish Dancing who actually suggested going down the B & B road.....and we haven't looked back since!
