The hostess made use welcome on arrival and took the time to explain about what was happening in the town and why it was inadvisable to drive. She asked and gave good advice about our holiday. Our breakfast was very good and the staff lovely. The property is within very easy walking distance of the town centre and within walking reach of Ross (website hidden) wife thought the bed was too hard But I slept on the single bed and found it okay. the bathroom was adequate.
Il b&b è molto ben posizionato rispetto alla città, stanza pulita e ben arredata. Un grosso neo è rappresentato dalla estrema freddezza del personale che ti fa sentire più in un albergo ad ore che in un b&b a gestione familiare. Colazione molto buona.
We had a great stay at the Ardree House. My girlfriend and I loved the view from our room. The bathroom was clean and well kept, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and their dining room was just as pictured, a great way to get the morning started! The location was great as well, only a short walk to town, ample parking was available at the house.
Staying at Ardree with John and Norrie was excellent! They accommodated a very late arrival. The breakfast was great. The location is excellent - whether looking to walk into Killarney or head out onto the Ring of Kerry. A great stay!
From the moment we walked in, John and Norrie made us feel very welcome. Norrie wished us a happy anniversary, and she was very warm and easy to chat with. She gave us some great recommendations of places to dine. John was a wealth of information about fun places to see in Killarney, too. Our room was very clean, and the bed was big and cozy! The breakfasts were outstanding! We were able to walk to dinner, pubs and shopping which made it such a convenient location. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and we'd love to return someday!
Our stay here was lovely. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was great with the buffet and the hot food. We were expecting a house and it was practically a hotel!! Amazing. We loved the bedroom very comfortable. The coffee and tea available 24hs was very kind of you to offer. Thanks for everything!!
We had a great stay. A nice location close to the park and downtown. Breakfast was delicious and the room was nice and quiet. A very relaxing stay which we enjoyed very much!

My family are originally from Killarney and have always been in the hospitality industry, including my Great-Grandfather who originally ran a pub and my father who opened a hotel in the town of Killarney
I also dabbled in the building trade for many years. However it was my lovely wife Norrie who teaches Irish Dancing who actually suggested going down the B & B road.....and we haven't looked back since!
