This second-to-non private apartment is now available to host guests. Spread over two magnificent floors, this accommodation is as breathtaking as the pictures suggest. I can accommodate up to six guests, all with real beds There are two and half bathrooms, one ensuiet with a centre bath tub. The bedrooms are very spacious, clean, with hardwood mahogany floors, and real firm beds and tasteful furnishings. No expense has been speared in making this a cost effective short term comfortable stay. PlEASE NOTE there are two permanent bedrooms, for larger parties the third bedroom will be reconfigured from the living room using real beds. The is an additional half bathroom adjoining the living room.
AgainI stress that no part of the Apartment is shared in fact it also has a private entrance if you so choose to use it.
It is most a beautiful tree lined street, and the loveliest apartment. Macdonough Street is stones throw to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, and the people are very warm and friendly and helpful. Most importantly it is safe area.
We are situated 3 blocks from the 'A' train, and a 3 minute walk to the ‘C’ train. Both trains gives you quick access to both the lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge 'about 10-15 minutes'.
The apartment is laid on two private floors "and is extremely large" and is accessed by no others than you. The configuration of beds etc. really depends on what your needs and requirements are, however we provide queens sized 'real' beds unless guests request single beds. The apartment has a large fully equipped kitchen.
We will provide you all with clean sheets and towels throughout the duration of your stay. We pride ourselves on how clean the house is, and the homely type atmosphere.
THE STANDARD SET UP OF THE APARTMENT IS
with configuaration as a 2 bedroom with a queen size bedroom in each of the bedrooms, however you can request configuarations and extra beds to suit the needs of your travel group. I think I have covered most points but if you have any further questions please do get back. Hope to speak soon.
**Daily breakfast complete with gourmet coffees is supplied at 'Macs Landing cafe' check it out on'Yelp'. Macs Landing is a stones throw from the house. There is an extra charge for breakfast, please ask for details. Cheers. Paul

Paul was an extremely gracious host and went above and beyond in accommodating my guests and myself. Highly recommended!!!
The apartment is exactly as described and completely lived up to our expectations. Plenty of space for 5 of us, good beds and linens, convenient location. Paul was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Paul's apartment is very huge and impressive, you have a lot of room for a very good price in NY. Paul is easy to reach and answers quick if you have questions. Travelling to Manhattan is very easy by Metro and if you take the A train you will reach downtown Manhattan in 15 minutes. A supermarket is just around the corner and a lot of restaurants and shop are there too. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed of the condition of the apartment. The minor things mentioned by others here before are still there and in the sum they were major to me. Lightbulbs did not work, lamps had no switch or light bulb, one chair broke when you sit on it, sofa and chair had cuts, the cover of the ventilation lacked in every bathroom (if you look up you see all the mug just right over your head, maybe functional but not comfortable). The stainless steel shelves in the bathrooms looked scruffy, some shelves were absent. Inside the kitchen closet there was dirt and it looked like it wasn't cleaned for years. All in all the kitchen looked superficially clean but never open the doors! In the fridge I found some milk best before May (we were travelling in October). All in all there were to many things for me to enjoy the stay. Please keep in mind that this is just my personal view and that a lot of other people liked the apartment very much. If you look for a good price for a huge apartment it is the best you can get. If you put a lot of value on cleanliness and functioning equipment you maybe should look for something else.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
An impressive flat in a browstone house, air conditioning was a plus given the high temperatures during our stay, wi fi very efficient and garden view from balcony a huge plus in the mornings & evenings after hectic days in Manhattan. Basement front bedroom a bit dark and kitchen would benefit from a few extra utensils like scissors which travellers may not have brought with them, overall a superb stay !
Very nice place! Lots of room. Beautiful new master bathroom. Nice back yard/porch which would be fun to BBQ on (we did not). Great kitchen with lots of light. Close to the subway. Neighborhood is nice - no issues coming in late or anything like that. Only complaint was that the A/C was not operational and no fans were available except for one that I found in the basement being used to dry out where they are doing some renovation. Place was not unbearably hot at night at all, but thank god we found that fan :-) Hopefully the portable A/C unit is something they can fix for the next guests.
Wow, this was such a lovely, artful retreat in the middle of BedStuy. I and my fellow adventurers felt so at home here, and loved waking up to the sunny, tree-lined streets where we'd grab breakfast.
The owner, Paul, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made us feel super welcome. All four of us remarked that it was our favorite place to stay and that we would gladly come back again. Truly a gem!
Beautiful home with loads of character in Bed-Stuy. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed eating on the terrace. No AC, but the bedrooms were cool enough in the evening to sleep comfortably.
Beautiful home ! Paul is a great host, and gave us lots of tips on great local eats ( Saraghina and Peaches are amazing.) also, Paul's little cafe is great for coffee and breakfast - Mac's Landing.
Great little wine shop just a few blocks away on Norstrom.
Convenient access to Manhattan via subway.
Nice quiet street with beautiful Brownstones -
People in Bed Stuy are very friendly and helpfull.
Would recommend very highly.
I was traveling from California and I needed a space to hold meetings with my East Coast sales team and found this incredible place.
The photo's do not do this place justice the two level space was beautiful. The living space on the first floor had two very large rooms with architectural details that were worthy of a museum. The kitchen was great, it also had an outside deck area, tons of natural light. The bedrooms were downstairs, both where very large and the bathroom in the photo was spectacular. We were very close the "C" subway line so, it was easy to get in and out of Manhattan, felt very safe walking back to the unit late at night. Paul was great and my team and I were very happy to have found this place and will use it again for our next meeting.
