Modern yet cozy one bedroom in an ideal location. Eat in or go out. Well appointed kitchen with copper pots and pans, Wustof knifes and gas range. Walk just two blocks to Whole Foods to pick-up groceries or walk to one of the many farmers markets in the area -- 14th and U on Saturdays (April-November) or Dupont on Sundays (year round). Alternatively, take a break from cooking and walk to any one of DC's top restaurants, several of which grace the 14th street corridor.
You'll also be walking distance to many of the sites and sounds of DC. Walk to the National Mall, White House or Chinatown (home of the Verizon Center) all within 20 minutes. Or take a quick stroll to U Street where you can hear live jazz seven nights a week. If walking's not your thing, just hop on the Circulator bus just two blocks away or grab a taxi on the corner. For destinations further afield, hop on any of DC's five metro lines, all within a 10-15 minute walk each.
Clean towels and bedding are provided, as well as basic toiletries and kitchen condiments. The bedroom features a queen size bed and a queen size air mattress is available for the living room.
*We are currently accepting reservations only through Labor Day weekend of September 2014.*
This was the perfect place for a weekend away in DC. Michelle and Vaughn's apartment is incredibly clean, organized, and decorated (with a very comfortable bed!). My boyfriend and I found the location ideal, and actually walked to most of our destinations, which was a great way to explore the city. Also, Logan Circle has a bunch of the best new food spots, which was a plus.
We stayed at Michelle & Vaughn's apartment over Columbus Day weekend and we had a fantastic experience. This was our first time using AirB&B and we were a little nervous, but we couldn't have asked for a more inviting and comfortable stay. Michelle was so easy to communicate with and you could tell she genuinely cared about our comfort and convenience. The apartment was very clean and neat, they left us their cards to use for the DC Circulator, a map, and even left us some homemade pie (delicious and so sweet).
As for the location- it was the Cutest little neighborhood, Super close to tons of restaurants and bars, and we walked down to the National Mall and tourist sights each day.
If we ever go back to DC, we are definitely going to try to stay here again. It was great.
Loved this place! Perfect location, wonderful & flexible hosts, and beautiful accommodations.
Would love to come back here again and i would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone visiting DC.
Thank you Michelle & Vaughn for making it an amazing weekend!
Cozy, clean, easy to work with hosts, and convenient location. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the DC area and definitely consider staying there again.
We would highly recommend Michelle and Vaughn's apartment to DC-goers.
Logan Circle is a brilliant neighborhood filled with very attractive historic buildings and great shops and restaurants. In our view it is a much nicer place to stay than nearby Dupont Circle, which is better known.
The apartment is based in a beautiful old building which has been converted to a very high standard.
Michelle and Vaughn's apartment is really lovely--it is spotless, very nicely decorated and furnished and has an extremely well-equipped kitchen. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom very luxurious and there is a washer/dryer in the apartment.
We have stayed in three other home rentals in DC in the past, and this is definitely the best we have found. We will definitely try to stay again next time we're in town.
My daughter and I came into DC for a marathon weekend and found that Michell's place suited us perfectly. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet face to face but she did take the time to leave us some great homemade muffins for breakfast! It was located really close to restaurants & whole foods which was great for our needs. Several metro stations are within a 15 minute walk. I would certainly stay here again!
Michelle and Vaughn's place was perfect! It was very cozy, comfy, and clean. We found it to be conveniently located - easy access to the Metro, Whole Foods, lots of restaurants, CVS, the Circulator buses, etc. At least for us, it was within walking distance of the White House and the National Mall. We walked to the MLK Memorial and back within a couple hours.
The entire rental process was very efficient and went smoothly. Michelle made everything very easy, gave us great directions, and met us just as planned.
on conseille vivement cet appartement.
we found this apartment really great: it is beautiful, very clean, functional, very tidy, with a nice interior. it is very quiet. We were there with our 5 year old daughter who slept on the couch she found as comfortable as his bed.
We really enjoyed our stay, moreover the area is very chic.
we enjoyed the attention of our guests who gave us a good cake on our arrival.
we highly recommend this apartment.
My parents stayed here for a long weekend while visiting me in DC, and they absolutely loved the place. They've stayed at hotels in the area, and requested that I try to book this place for their next visits! The apartment is beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. Michelle even left us fresh zucchini bread! Highly recommend.
We were very lucky to have booked Michelle and Vaughn's wonderful condo. The location is perfect for walking, eating out, transportation all around DC and the place is just wonderful. Furnishings were comfortable and beautiful. It was as clean a place as I have seen. We met Michelle when we came in and she was delightful. A great experience and recommended to anyone.
