Lorraine and Tom are very nice, we come from China, they gave us guidance about how to travel in Cliffs of Moher, we did not drive there, Lorraine drive us and pick us from Galway. Breakfast is very delicious, we love their house and want to go back again.
When we arrived at Bearna Tri Ri we were greeted with such a very warm and hospitable welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. An offer to help with our bags was also so very kind.
Within minutes a hot pot of tea was on the table and our hosts assisted our daughter with some internet issues whilst we chatted with our friendly and fantastic hosts.
This house is situated in a very beautiful area only minutes drive to Loughrea. The views from this elevated house of the surrounding countryside are remarkable and very scenic.
Our hosts are so knowledgeable about the local area and history, one would like to stay much longer and explore the local area.
The accommodation is immaculate, with such lovely decor and very well equipped for all ages (website hidden) programs/ channels for younger children.
Cooked Irish breakfast in the morning was just the best and there was plenty of choice of breakfasts including fresh scones made by Lorraine our host. Breakfast was followed by a walk up the mountain with out hosts where we saw deer, wild horses and other wild life.
Our only complaint with this accommodation was that we had to leave. We felt so welcome and comfortable we could have easily stayed several nights.
The beds were probably the most comfortable beds that we have ever slept in.
This place is a really great find but the hosts make it magic. Tom and Lorraine are just fantastic. We highly recommend it.
A great experience .
The B & B was easy to find and only a few miles from the nearest town Loughrea. We received a lovely warm welcome from Lorraine when we arrived and were shown to a spacious double bedrooms with lovely views. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Cereal and fruit juice and a lovely cooked breakfast. I would highly recommend staying with Lorraine in her lovely home and warm welcoming hospitality.
Lorraine and Tom are very very nice people. They are warm and helpful as well. The house is fantastic and gets everything you could ask,the space, the view...Definitely will come back again!
Lorraine and her husband were very helpful from the moment we arrived. They made us feel welcome and we felt at ease straight away. In the morning we were a little late in rising out of the comfortable bed provided due to a wedding we attended the night previously. Due to this we were not expecting breakfast but Lorraine insisted we have some and it was a delicious spread. I highly recommend this b&b and will b staying again if we have a wedding in the area...5 stars
Lorraine and Tom were great hosts and fun to talk with. Their house (not the one in Galway, now rented long term) is light and airy and architecturally interesting, with pleasant views over the Irish countryside. If you are making the long drive from Shannon up to Donegal or vice versa, their location makes for a quiet stayover to break the journey and a chance to see the medieval old town of nearby Athenry.

About the Host, Lorraine
I am a people person, and as I like to travel I also enjoy meeting travellers from different parts of the world. . I enjoy the outdoors and hail rain or shine I try and go for a walk every day whether it is on one of the many Golden Miles located close to our home or on the nearby beaches of Kinvara, The Flaggy Shore or Salthill. Good quality food is important to me and I source all the food for my family and guests from the best local suppliers. My favourite restaurant is The White Gables in Moycullen. Having lived and worked in London, New York, Galway and Northern Ireland I enjoy a wide range of ethnic foods. The best holiday I had was a family wedding in Lake Garda Italy. I also operate a hair salon which is located in the basement of my home. The Galway Races held on the last week of July is the busiest time of the year for the B&B. Thoor Ballylee which was WB Yeats summer home for twelve years is one of my favourite places to visit. My message to my guests is that my home is your home.
