This bright, contemporary and comfortable room with digital TV and free WIFI is located on a quiet street in the popular Kemptown area of Brighton. 2 minutes walk to the beach and close to bars, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing attractions.
To get you in the seaside mood I offer a quiet beach themed room, on the ground floor of an Edwardian building very close to Brighton seafront.
A continental breakfast of croissants, yoghurt, cereals, toast, orange juice and tea and coffee is included in the price of your room.
In the room there is a flat screen digital TV, free fast broadband Wifi connection and a fridge. This room is a good size so it can accommodate up to 2 people comfortably, also there is a wardrobe so there is more than enough storage space. As you can see from the photos there is a dining table where you will be able to sit and enjoy either your continental breakfast supplied by myself (included in the price of your room) or any meals that you have prepared. Within the room there are also tea and coffee making facilities.
Next to the room there is a clean and contemporary bathroom with a shower.
All towels and bed linen are provided, should you require them there are laundry facilities and use of an iron and ironing board.
The apartment is located on a very quiet, friendly street just 10 minutes bus ride from Brighton station. Take the number 27 bus towards Saltdean from Brighton Station (approx £2), the bus stop (Burlington street) is on the seafront opposite my road. The beach is only 2 minutes walk away.
The city centre and the popular Lanes area are only 15 minutes walk. Here you can find the cosmopolitan cafe culture or browse the quirky and colourful independent shops and boutiques that make Brighton famous.
This area is also where you can find Brighton`s best known landmark, The Royal Pavilion, here you can also find many theatres, bars, restaurants and other places of interest to visit.
Brighton`s world famous Pier is 10 minutes walk along the seafront, here you can enjoy roller coaster rides and all the fun of the fair.
If you go in the other direction along the seafront, about 20 minutes walk or 5 minute bus ride you can find Brighton Marina. This is a great place to visit as here there is a lot to do and see. Why not take a drink in one of the bars and restaurants on the board walk overlooking the harbour and yachts? There is also a Casino, a Cinema and a Ten Pin Bowling and Kiddies Games Complex, every Sunday morning there is a car boot sale, so there is definitely something for everybody.
I look forward to welcoming you to Brighton, Gary

I love living in the Kemptown area of Brighton as it has a village feeling. There are many coffee shops, traditional English Pubs (where you can enjoy a lovely Sunday Roast Dinner), restaurants, antique and other independent shops. It`s only a 2 minute walk to the beach and the city centre is just 15 minutes walk away.
If you arrive at Gatwick airport, it is easiest to take the train to Brighton (journey time approx 35 mins). There is an excellent bus service in the Brighton area. If you arrive by train, take the number 27 bus from Brighton Train station in the direction of Saltdean, about a 10 minute journey, approx £2.00. There is a bus stop on the seafront opposite my road (Burlington street), then it is just 2 minutes walk to my apartment. Also from this bus stop you can take buses to all parts of the city and beyond.
If you arrive by car there is on street parking available, this is on a permit system (on present rates £5.00 per day), I am happy to arrange this for you.
If you arrive by coach to Pool Valley coach station, walk to North Street Bus stop C and take the number 27 bus towards Saltdean. There is a bus stop on the seafront opposite my road (Burlington street). Then walk up Burlington street to my apartment, about 2 mins walk.
The nearest airport is Gatwick easily reached by regular trains (approx 30 mins journey time.

Lovely room, clean bright and tidy. Bed is very comfy indeed. The extra touches were very thoughtful and most appreciated. I highly recommend.
Beautiful, quiet room in a wonderful area of Brighton. Gary was the perfect host, giving brilliant information, keeping things wonderfully clean etc.
Gary was really welcoming. This was a great place to stay, I felt very much at home. Kemptown is also a great part of town, close to the beach, the town centre, and with great pubs and cafes of its own. I would strongly recommend a stay here.
Gary made me feel extremely welcome from the moment I arrived, and was available if wanted, happy and able to give plenty of local information, but never intrusive . The room was even better than expected, in a lovely flat, with all the facilities you'd want from a night's b&b away from home. I hadn't expected all the extras - hot drinks and breakfast facilities in the room; hairdryer, iron, and even a TV (they may be on the listing but it was a while since I'd booked so may have forgotten). Everything pristine, clean and tidy, and I felt extremely well looked after. The bed was so comfortable I slept for hours. This was my first experience of using Airbnb and it was very good. I'd have no hesitation going back nor in recommending this venue to others. Thanks!
We enjoyed our stay with Gary. Room and bathroom was clean and tidy. Bed was extremely comfortable and was just what we needed after our flight from Australia. Breakfast was nice and we were impressed with the facilities provided in the room ie. toaster, kettle, fridge. Highly recommend Gary's place.
We instantly felt at home as soon as we walked in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm, light, airy and provided all we needed.
Tea, coffee, sugar, sweeteners, milk, juice, jam, marmalade, butter, yogurts, croissants and fresh bread and cereals were all there in the room/fridge ready for our breakfast (sorry if I've missed anything).
Gary is a real gentleman; very welcoming and I wouldn't hesitate to book with him again.
