I love living in the Kemptown area of Brighton as it has a village feeling. It`s only a 2 minute walk to the beach and the city centre is just 15 minutes walk away.

We stayed with Gary for two nights and I couldn't recommend his place highly enough. He was the perfect host and the room was lovely and bright, clean and comfortable. The place is a short walk to town centre and Gary gave really good advice on local restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay with him again when we return to Brighton. Thanks Gary! Oh yeah - breakfast was delicious
Even though I stayed at Gary's for two nights only with a friend, he managed to make very welcome at his place during our short trip to Brighton.
The flat itself is very clean and nicely decorated and Gary provided anything you would ever need beforehand, so there wasn't a thing we needed to ask for (including a very nice breakfast!).
Gary himself is possibly the loveliest host you'll ever meet, you could always pop into the kitchen and have a little chat with him and the communication in general (regarding Check-Out times etc.) was very easy.
Which is why, overall, I would definitely recommend staying at Gary's place, if you're coming to visit the lovely town that is Brighton :)
So, thanks again, Gary! We had a lovely stay and hope to come again soon!
The Great location near the ocean in Kemp Town 10 min walk from the centre, the comfortable, cozy very quiet room to the backyard with sun in the morning made my stay feeling like at home away from home inclusive very fast wifi, tv, good heating and a fridge to store cold drinks and some groceries. On top I was offered croissants, cereals, yoghurt, butter and jam for breakfast. I will return again next year and highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Brighton. But the difference makes the host with his caring way to create a relaxed and respectful atmosphere, one of my best airbnb stays ever, thank you Gary!
Gary is an excellent host who provides a warm welcome to Brighton. He is very thoughtful and pays attention to the details that make for a truly pleasant stay. In the room, he has a table with two chairs with such breakfast amenities as a French press coffee maker, toaster, artisan bread, OJ, choice of cereals, yogurt, and a fresh croissant. Plus, if you need to freshen up your clothes there is also an iron. On top of that, the room has a warm and pleasant feel to it. I only wish I could have stayed for more than one day. There is no question that I would very highly recommend staying here.
I had such a lovely stay with Gary. He is very welcoming and the room is extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The breakfast provided was fantastic and fresh and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Gary is a superb host and nothing is too much trouble at all. He is very friendly and very knowledgeable about Brighton and the surrounds. The flat is a 10 minute walk to brighton and right on the middle of kemptown which is a great little town itself. I will definitely stay with gary again if i return to brighton..
Easy communication, super friendly host, really nice space (in fact, the bed and pillows were so comfortable, i ended up over-sleeping a bit!)
Will definitely come back if i ever do a trip to Brighton again!
We had a lovely stay at Gary's flat in Kemptown! There was a huge amount of breakfast supplies including fresh bread/croissants, cereals, orange juice, coffee, etc. The room was beautifully done and the bathroom was clean and easily accessible (even though we shared it). His flat is about 15-20 minutes from Brighton Pier, and it has great coffee shops, pubs and restaurants close to it. Overall had a great stay.
