The house is located in a beautiful leafy suburb of Nairobi known as Hardy, which is next to Karen, Langata. The location is very close to Giraffe Manor, the Giraffe Center, the Karen Blixen museum and some excellent local restaurants such as The Talisman, Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens and the newly opened Hemingways Nairobi.
This one story house is a self contained 2 bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, dining and living room home with its own front door and verandah. An additional 2 lovely bedrooms with a separate bathroom are also linked to this property.
The house has a flat screen TV with full 'DSTV' coverage. It also has 'WIMAX' wifi internet access throughout.
A kitchen will be stocked with fresh local fruits such as mangoes and pawpaw, eggs, bacon, fresh bread, fresh coffee beans (there is an electric grinder!) and juice for your arrival. Further shopping can be arrange on request. Should you wish to entertain and would like a chef for lunch or evenings this can be arranged with prior notice.
The house has a stunningly beautiful garden and a large swimming pool which guests are welcome to use. You will also have access to the kitchen situated in the main house.
Transport (private taxi at local rate) can also be arranged for airport transfers and daily use.
Clothes washing and ironing will be taken care of by staff on the premises.

I will most likely be present, otherwise you will be greeted on arrival.
This neighbourhood is truly lovely and the garden is full of birds. The many trees ensure constant visits from Sykes and Vervet Monkeys. Night time you will hear (and maybe see) the bush babies and tree hyrax.
We have a local taxi who is reliable and reasonably priced.
