We hope that by staying with us instead of a local hotel, you will feel more like a Concordian than just a tourist. Or if you are a guest of a local that you will feel like you have "your own place" in town. We can suggest things to do and places to go that you may not find in a travel book.
David was born and raised here, he has quite a diverse family still in the area and they too can come up with unique side trips to make your vacation more enjoyable.
Studio apt. on 3rd floor. Restaurant on 1st floor for coffee/breakfast/lunch/dinner/cocktails/live music

From Oct 9 - 12, 2015 the minimum stay is 3 nights.
It was wonderful staying in this beautiful studio. It is in a great location, very functional and beautiful design. It is very comfortable and roomy. I will try to come back here. The restaurant downstairs is great too and has life music every night.
The apartment is conveniently located right in the middle of Concord. I was easily able to get around without a car. The space is well-appointed and comfortable. I really appreciated that the hosts left a few breakfast items!
But...this is the only AirBnB experience I've had where I never laid eyes on my hosts (in two weeks). I was sent directions about a key box. I'm an independent traveler but a little more attention would have been nice. I had to ask the hosts for things like more toilet paper and the WiFi login. The air conditioning unit broke in the middle of a heat wave forcing me to find other lodgings for two nights in the middle of my stay. The host has promised me a partial refund, but two weeks later--nothing.
Overall, great place but the hosts are not sufficiently involved with it.
The hosts were on the lookout for me, and helped me up the stairs with my (too big!) suitcase. They were very responsive to questions, and also just let me be while I was there. The loft is absolutely charming, and being in the center of Concord Village is really special.
A charming studio loft in a perfect location, right in the heart of Concord. The hosts were very helpful leading up to our stay, providing clear instructions for gaining entry to the studio, as well as making suggestions for day trips around Concord. We were happy to find bottled water and fruit in the fridge upon our arrival. We also loved the restaurant on the main floor - great innovative takes on grilled cheese sandwiches! We would absolutely stay here again!
Great place. I had business in nearby Waltham, and very glad I opted for this instead of one of the mega-hotels there. Concord is a cute town with a nice "Main Street" area, and this rental puts you right in the middle of it.
Felt very welcome and comfortable there. Small knock to a tiny bathroom/shower situation, but otherwise a terrific stay. Highly recommended.
Great location (close to the Inn, museum, restaurants) and a comfortable studio loft. Karen provided clear instructions for entry. The municipal lot is very convenient to the loft. The air conditioner worked very well. The bed design is ingenious. Thank you!
Great hassle free experience. The space is great for and extended stay. I would come back.
About the Host, Karen
My husband and I are doing this together, we are a "middle aged" married couple with two kids. We own and work @ our restaurant which is on the first floor of the building where the airbnb room is (that is on the 3rd floor.) David is the fourth generation "Anderson" to own the Grist Mill Building. His family was one of the settlers of Concord back in the 1600's. My family moved to Concord back in 1972 so we are newcomers compared to my husband's family. We grew up going to school together here in town and still have our parents in the houses we grew up in. We will be happy to suggest places for you to go, and things for you to do, that you may not find in a guidebook. We hope you will feel a little less like a tourist and more like a "Concordian" by being one of the only "tenants" on Main Street in Concord Center, in your home away from home for whatever length of time you stay.
