The space

This is the upper part of a semi-troglodyte house.
You will have a living area (kitchen/living room/dining room) and a sleeping area and shower room.
Designed for 2 people with a 140 x 190 bed in the bedroom. Following various concerns, a 3rd person will not be accepted.
If you want to use an additional sofa bed (140 x 190), you will be asked for an extra charge.
Please note the small mezzanine is currently no longer available.
The height of the ceiling under the rock varies (between 1.95 m at the dining room table to 2.40 m at the bathtub).
You will have access to a terrace overlooking the Cher.
Access to the property is via a hairpin path. Quite impressive but quite passable. You have to go up first. If car access really doesn't work for you, you can always leave your car at the bottom of the road.

Wi-Fi available

The heating method is a pellet stove that we ask you to use. Radiators should only be used as a backup. Please respect this heating method.

Right next to the house, just a few steps away, you will find a very beautiful tourist site, La Magnanerie, where Laurent can introduce you to his house and his silkworms.
The village is a few hundred meters away. There is a bakery, deli, pharmacy, bar and several restaurants including a troglo.
Opposite the house, several hundred meters away, you will have a magnificent view of the Cher. There is also a railway but very few passengers and located far enough to be forgotten. You won't hear it from the house.
Just two kilometers away, you will find the village of Montrichard and all its amenities (banks, supermarkets, swimming pool, beach, etc.).
Beauval Zoo is 20 km away and you will find the most beautiful castles of the Loire Valley nearby (Chenonceau, Amboise, Chaumont-sur-Loire, etc.).
