The room was comfortable. It was walking distance from the train station. And the breakfast was delicious! What a wonderful place to stay as we visited Stratford!

Lovely room in a safe area, perfectly situated between Anne Hathaway's cottage (which is a must-visit) and the town center. The walks to and from both are beautiful if you take the right route. The English breakfast provided each morning was wonderful.

For some reason, we did not get the detached family/triple room. We had an ordinary room within the B&B. That being said, our room was clean and comfortable. We were able to choose what we wanted for breakfast, whether full English or just a simple breakfast of bread or cereal. Everything was laid out nicely at the time we requested. We had no problems leaving our bags at the B&B on the checkout date while we did some morning sightseeing. The only downside is that the B&B was further from the main Shakespeare sites than we expected. It was about a 20-25 minute walk from there to the central areas. It's a much more convenient location if you have a car. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Hosts (Dan and Elena) were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was ready when we got into town by train late morning. We stayed in the family room detached from the main house. The room was small ("cozy") but had the beds we needed (for 3 people). It was very clean; bathroom was immaculate and good-sized. Their place is about a 10 minute walk to and from the train station, another 5 minutes or so from there into the town center. It's on a main road, but we did not hear any traffic noise. We actually enjoyed the walk into and out of town, preferring that to a bus. The Anne Hathaway house is another 10 minute walk from their house away from town, so their place is convenient to see that (we did it during a spare hour) as well as Shakespeare's house in town. Elena was very nice to arrange a paid car ride to Bath for us (buses and trains from Stratford-Upon-Avon took twice as long and were expensive), and when that fell through, she took us herself.
