  • My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks and it was great. The apartment is in a nice neighborhood, it is very safe. The hosts were wonderful; Cesar, Rene, and Kelly were all very helpful and incredibly nice. There is a full kitchen, we cooked often. There is a large grocery store about 10 min walking from the house. The courtyard is nice and sunny, we usually ate breakfast out there. It is close enough to walk to the City Center and Plaza de Armas (a little over 30 min walk). We walked to and from during the day and at night and it was safe. I definitely recommend staying here.

  • We stayed at this apartment in June 2014 and really can't say enough great things about it.

When we arrived, Kelly and Reina were there to show us around and make sure we got settled. They keep the place up nicely and are always there to help out if you have a question.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and neat and there were starter supplies so we didn't have to go straightaway to the store. (TP, soap, dish soap etc.)

We don't usually watch TV, but the nice big TV they have was wonderful for watching the world cup and seems to have a huge channel selection.

The kitchen is stocked well for basic meals and everything works. There is a coffee maker, which was really nice after travelling for awhile and not being able to get coffee first thing in the morning. There is also a blender/mixer though we did not use it.

There is a washer and dryer and they work well.

The apartment is relatively large and there is a very nice grassy outdoor area with tables and chairs where we ate a lot of meals and enjoyed the great Arequipa weather.

The neighborhood is very clean and quiet. Even the taxis slow down and stop honking when in the neighborhood. We had stayed in another place in Arequipa prior to this one and the dust in the air was incredible, for some reason, this area doesn't have so much dust flying around...perhaps because public works is out cleaning the streets every day.

We stayed with our daughter and enjoyed the little park a block away with a small play area and concrete soccer pitch.

Also, we enjoyed going for morning runs up the hill, through the fields and into the small town of Alto Cayma. The wind sweeps down from the mountain in the early morning so the air is very clean on this route. Nearby on Avenida Cayma there is a sports medicine place that has a clean and well equipped gym in the basement and they charge 15 soles for day use. (Just walk in and ask.) There is a huge gym in Real Plaza but I never checked the price (3rd floor).

Two modern shopping malls with modern supermarkets are a short walk away. Saga Falabella is at the end of Avenida Cayma where it meets Ave Ejercito and Real Plaza is at the end of Los Arces where it ends at Avenida Ejercito. (The Apartment is between Cayma and Arces.) There are a near infinite number of taxis and buses at either of these shopping areas. The Plaza de Armas (center of Arequipa) is about 10 minutes away by bus or taxi. The airport is about 20 minutes in the other direction.

  • We spent a week in this beautiful apartment. It is exactly as advertised; modern, fully equipped, bright, sunny, well located and very secure and private. There are descent restaurants close by and a great bakery. Leaving the apartment complex there is a quick way to access Avenida Cayma and cross into the very charming Yanahaura district which has some great restaurants and spectacular views of Arequipa.

We would definitely pick this apartment again for a visit to Arequipa, as it represents a great value in a great city.

  • The apartment is perfect, very modern and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need including sharp knives and small appliances. The garden is lovely. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing.

It is about a 30 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas, but the walk is very pleasant. We found the best restaurants to be in Yanahuara and a very short walk away. The neighborhood is residential and feels very safe.

Our hosts were charming and made us feel very welcome.

This is an excellent choice for Arequipa. I strongly recommend it.

  • Wow, (email hidden)! One of the best we had while in Peru ! Close to everything and a really nice community, very safe place, super clean and felt like home. Would definitely stay here again!!

  • My parents and I stayed here for a week over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The apartment is in a great location within a short walk to grocery stores, the Yanahuara Plaza and in about 20 minutes you are in downtown Arequipa. The close location to downtown allowed us to talk a leisurely walk into town via the Misti look out point.

The small yard and table outside was also wonderful after a day of exploring Arequipa.

I would highly recommend this apartment. It was a great size for the 3 of us.

Gisella and Kelly were also really helpful when we needed anything.

  • This is a very nice apartment in the Cayma district about a 15 minute walk from the center. The apartment is clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and secure. Taxis are cheap to the center but don't overlook Cayma and Yanahuara. There are a lot of good restaurants, a couple of supermarkets, shopping centers and few tourists. There's an interesting church at the plaza de Cayma, some really nice historic houses in (email hidden) to walk. Highly recommended.

  • What a gorgeous, well-kept little gem of an apartment! We had everything we needed, and it was so cute, clean, and comfortable. The courtyard & garden are like a lovely oasis, we felt safe as could be and well looked-after. Everything we needed was in easy walking distance.

We had to make a last-minute change to our itinerary and Giselle was very accommodating. Highly recommend this apartment if you're going to sunny Arequipa!

  • We adored this bright, comfortable, and fully stocked home. After weeks of being on the road we felt like we'd landed in a perfect oasis and ended up staying in and relaxing for most of our week. Washer and dryer, lovely outdoor area, kind hosts and a great kitchen. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it.

  • Gisella has a spacious apartment in a good location just outside the city (email hidden) with everything you need is nearby and the center of Arequipa is only a 15 minute walk to the east.

The kitchen was well stocked and there is a big wardrobe upstairs to stow away your clothes.

The wifi access point is in the adjacent apartment and I was only able to get a signal from the downstairs room. But the speed was good and consistent.
