It's beautiful and quiet! Being here is like being in a resort - especially during the beautiful Seattle summers.
Highly recommend getting a rental car if you're not from the area. Public transportation is slow and infrequent.

Crystal made us feel very welcome, especially given the fact that she had received incorrect information from her daughter regarding our arrival time and didn't expect us that day! She offered us some food and while we went grocery shopping she managed to get the house in perfect shape for us and was gone when we returned. The neighbor is very nice, it felt safe and quiet even though the houses were close together. The location was perfect for us, in between Tacoma and Seattle and only 3 miles from the wedding site!
This house was perfect for our needs. We were in town for our daughter's graduation and wanted a quiet place that was not too far from the festivities but far enough and spacious enough where we could relax and gear up for the next event. The house was clean, the views were amazing, the neighborhood was very nice and very quiet. Everything was as promised. Thank you so much for your hospitality and making our stay so enjoyable.
The name of this residence really says it all...this is a very spacious home with great windows providing terrific views of Tacoma. The nights views with Tacoma lit up were especially terrific! The home is well appointed with very comfortable beds and good showers! We stayed three nights while in town for a family wedding and our family (5 adults) had more than ample room. We prepared a dinner and 2 full breakfasts in and found all the needed pots, utensils and basics needed. If in town again I would not hesitate to stay again at this location. Thank you Crystal and Jean. Best. Rob & Terri.
The reviews don't lie! The house was extremely spacious and inviting. While the decor is a bit dated, it didn't make the house any less comfortable and added to its charm. The view was spectacular. It was very peaceful to just laze on the deck swing, enjoying the sounds of birds, frogs and the occasional dog. The house was stocked with everything we needed -- as long as we could find it! :)
The location is good. It is out of the way a bit, but the things we needed (groceries, drug store, gas) were a short drive away. Getting to downtown Tacoma is no issue, about a 20 minute drive. We had business in Puyallup, and we didn't have to take the freeway there during rush hour, which was a plus in our book.
LJ, Crystal's daughter was very responsive and helpful. I never worried about anything! Thank you!
Spent 4 excellent days at Crystal´s place. Exactly as advertised. In spite of being in Tacoma rather than Seattle, the drive is short and easy. Very clean and welcoming, had our first evening enjoying a perfect barbecue on the balcony enjoying the view and the sunset just 10 min after arrival.
Nice neighbourhood, even my wife felt safe sleeping with the windows on 1´st floor open during the night.
Absolutely nothing negative, except the fact that the place was far too big for a small family like ours ;-))
