Paolo's apartment was clean and as pictured in the photos. If you need a place to stay last minute, stay here! It is situated in a working class neighborhood, a little on the edge of Rome but still my dad, sister and I found things to do. And its quiet, not crammed with tourists. Great espresso machine there that Paolo had for guests.

I had a brief but very pleasant stay at Paolo's. He is a truly exceptional host, having waited for me pretty late into the night to arrive from Fiumicino with total patience. He was helpful with any questions and again very understanding with my check-out time (which was within regulations but changed from what I had at first communicated to him). One thing to note is that although it is in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is close to the trains, so it can be a bit noisy if you are a sensitive sleeper.

It's exactly what I was looking for.. simple b&b with a place to rest and clean up before another day of exploring. Easy access to downtown and plenty of good places nearby to eat/drink/tour

Staying at Paolo's was perfect!! Firstly, booking on, though quite last minute on my part, was graciously accommodated by Paolo! Then, from my arrival onwards meeting Paolo was wonderful! He's politely gentle and warm in demeanour! His place meets his description perfectly and even outdid my expectations. Ideally located, with easy access to Rome's center, you're slightly tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet with Trastevere station just around the corner. Cleanliness in my room and the ensuite bathroom was was impeccable and a good night's sleep in the comfort of the tastefully antique bed was superb! Also had a chance to sit and chat with both Paolo and his friend Vito and truly, the purpose in opting for an Airbnb versus a standard hotel room was met in the wonderful conversation around his kitchen table. I'm grateful for my brief stay with Paolo and would be very confident to recommend his place to all visiting Rome!!

This is a clean and comfortable bed & breakfast. It's located on a quite street, near the Trastevere transportation hub which makes it very easy to take a tram to the center of Rome and to go to the airport, a convenient and quick half hour train ride away. Paolo was a very helpful host when I needed an emergency umbrella or an Italian plug for my phone.

We had a great stay at Paolo's bnb. Paolo was a fantastic host, very helpful and flexible with our check-in (we arrived quite late) and generally responsive. He also provided a nice breakfast at the apartment. The room was clean and made for a pleasant place to sleep for two nights. The location is very convenient: extremely close to the Trastevere train station and a modest walk (or short tram ride) from the lively parts of Trastevere and the rest of Rome.
