Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
PLEASE read all information about the yurt before booking. Enchanted Forest offers stunning vistas along meandering forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. It is a 1.25-mile hike (or bike) to the Little John Yurt (no driving). This is (upscale) CAMPING, not a hotel room. A wood stove provides heat, there is no electricity, running water, or room/maid service. Because of COVID-19, we provide fitted sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Bring a sleeping bag or comforter for cold temperatures.

The space
Little John is 16-foot in diameter and has beds for up to 6: 2 twin- and 2 double futon sofa beds. The beds are comfortable, but you will need to bring your own bedding, specifically, a sleeping bag or bags.
The Little John Yurt is semi-primitive but comfortable and features:
• Wood stove for heat with firewood • Dining table and chairs
• Kitchen area with some cooking supplies and propane cook stove
• Propane lantern
• Beds (you supply bedding. 30º sleeping bags highly recommended)
• Port-A-Potty (outside)

During your stay

None, in most cases. The yurts are "self-service". The cross country ski area "day lodge" office is not typically open in spring, summer and fall.

Guests should be reasonably self-reliant and willing to read directions. Once you book, I provide full instructions to make your stay easier; and a cell signal is typically (but not always) available in case of an emergency (this depends on your carrier).
