As a business traveler that just got tired of hotel rooms I decided to try airbnb. This booking made me realize it will be very difficult for me to ever book a room at a hotel again.
The room was great! It was a nice private room with a private bath in a great safe neighborhood. It was quiet. I was able to get good nights sleep in a very comfortable bed.
And as a bonus!!!
I got to meet Asuncion. She was an amazing host. I can't say enough positive thinks about her. I was able to get a chance to visit with her for a little while. She is a very interesting person with a lot of class. I enjoyed the time spent talking with her.
This is a great play to stay.
I highly recommend this to everyone.
I was attending an Alternative Sustainable Transportation Education and Research conference ( (email hidden) ) in Broomfield at the Renaissance hotel for two days.
Asuncion was very communicative and though she was not there when I stayed so I did not have the pleasure of meeting her, the house was exactly as described and I had no issues at all. I had to change my reservation from one night to two nights (after the one night reservation was already accepted) which was a bit of a chore for us to figure out the proper steps to make the change, but the nice folks at AirBnB walked us through it and we finally got it sorted out.
The house is in a nice, quiet suburban neighborhood not too far from the end of the NW Parkway toll road that takes you directly to the Denver Int'l Airport (DEN) about 35 mins away. The room and private bath in the daylight basement were both clean and the wireless internet was solid (a necessity nowadays!) and though Asuncion was not there, she thought ahead enough to leave me the wireless password and I had no issues. The heater/Forced Air Unit was just outside the door and was fairly loud, so if you're a light sleeper you might want to bring ear plugs as it cycles a lot when it's cold.
I would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return should I find myself in the area again.
Thanks, Jamie, for your thorough, fair and positive response. Since I was not there I couldn't lower the thermostat enough to avoid the noise. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I hope you return again. In our interaction before you made your reservation you made me feel secure enough to allow you to stay without me being at home. i truly appreciate that. You only brought good and positive energy to my place.
This was a great place to stay -- Asuncion is a wonderful host. She was very concerned for my comfort. She also had some gluten-free breakfast available and that was super sweet of her. I look forward to staying there again when I need to be in the Denver area. Thanks!
This is a lovely room and a nice house. The host was very helpful in providing non-feather blankets as I have allergies to that.
