Quaint very "SMALL" privately owned cabin located in Spearfish City Park System. Cabin has shower, two bedrooms, kitchen, window AC. Pets OK "NO" large dogs(40 lbs or less) crated at night/not there, common sidewalk to cabin. Smoking outside. We do not host wedding/special events/family/friend gatherings. Spearfish Creek and bike/walking path 1/2 block away. For the space a MAX of 4 GUESTS INCLUDING INFANTS. Parking for 2 cars. NOT wheelchair/handicap accessible. Registered guests "only".

The space
We are in a very quiet area, lots of wildlife, lovely and unique gardens and water features. Lots of history associated with the DC Booth Fish Hatchery. Mr Booth retired in the original log cabin home located on the property. Other buildings on site are the bunkhouse and carriage house which have since been turned into homes. Again, four people can be very comfortable in this small cabin but over that number you will be in each other way.

Where you’ll be

Spearfish, South Dakota, United States

Our neighborhood is inside the Spearfish City Campground. We are the only piece of private property bordering the campground and literally inside the campground. The DC Booth National Fish Hatchery is next door with their lake of giant trout, museum and gift house. This is all a free attraction to anyone.

Both of us are artist and love to garden and landscape. We have a wonderful yard with a couple of waterfalls and ponds. We are the only piece of private property located within the City Park system. Located next to the DC Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery. We have three kitties that roam the property with us during the summer months. We live outside in the summer taking care of the yards, perennial gardens and water features. Spearfish Creek is a 1/2 block away and another smaller creek run in front of the property 50 ft away. Don't be afraid to ask us about traveling to places in the Hills!!!
