I had a wonderful stay in the garden room, which is very sunny and stayed quite cool even on the hot summer days. I loved sitting with the glass doors open and reading at the little desk while looking out onto Eva's beautiful garden. Eva is an extremely generous and kind-hearte…

hot water is available during winter months more as the gas central heating is on and the water is therefore heated alongside . however I thought it is customary to bathe and shower at nightime after the people have been on the trains buses and public areas rather that in the morning also I think in the heat we have been having it is much more refreshing to shower in cold water in the morning I have enjoyed michikos stay very much even that it got me nearly in trouble with my immediate neighborough s michico has played violin which was not to the liking of my neigborough I love getting up in the morning as it is so beautiful to see the sun rise hear the birds to sing and not hearing the cars starting up. so it is also the reason that I get up early. in winter months I get up when the day light is on which is later of course people who come from different time zones not exclusively from usa must find it difficult to adapt to European zone. I get up early as I have more energy in the morning rather than later on in the day

Eva's house is warm and comfortable, bed linen and towels are provided, it has a good location very close to Kingston on a well-served bus route, and is very good value for money.

Eva makes me feel like I live in my own house. She is a nice , kind and active lady. Talking with her is so much fun. It makes me learn several things about UK culture. Her room is also very comfortable and lovely.

I live in a very good neighbourhood, apart from it being so close to the River, Richmond Park and the town centre, it is very safe and the people that live here are very pleasant.

Getting around

You can walk to Richmond Road, at the end of Latchmere Road ( 3 minutes) and catch a bus to Kingston ( train to Waterloo) or the other way to Richmond ( District line underground)
