The unit was nice, and very clean when I arrived. The host was responsive, and spoke English in person, but would only use French when responding by e-mail. I had to use (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translate every time, which caused a lot of back-and-forth retries just to work out a meetup time.
When I arrived, he told me that I'd need to clean the place when I left, and that I'd need to buy cleaning supplies from a grocery store. I've never run into that at any of the other AirBnBs that I've stayed at. I had to give him an extra $22.50 in cash, in advance, to pay for exit cleaning.
For the price, I'd really expect to find at least one towel, and at least one pillow. You're just given a bare bed with one sheet. That might be fine for people who are driving in for the weekend and can bring bedding with them, but there's no way I can fly with it.
The village was fairly nice, but expect an older crowd - the average age was probably around 55, and younger people were very out of place.
