This was our first experience of airbnb and we are now firmly hooked. We and our dog received a warm welcome from Kyra and Gerry into their lovely spacious home. we were offered tea/coffee on our arrival and access to the kitchen for drinks at any time. The breakfast was wonderful. The comfortable en suite bedroom has views of Croagh Patrick. We spent a lovely hour walking the nearby strand on arrival and Kyra showed us a looped walk from the house before breckfast the next morning. Their home is within an easy drive of Westport with all of its attractions. If you love countryside, great views, sea, mountain and ducks, geese, chickens and friendly dogs, this is the place to go. Unfortunately, we had only one night but it was one to remember. Many thanks.
Kyra was a great host and her home is amazing! We felt very komfortable and home. She and her Family were very helpful and gave us good advices for our evening in Westport.
We totally recommend her as a host! A stay is definitely worth it!
Cheers Marc & Julia
Lovely house and very hospitable family. The room was spacious. The only regret we did not stay much to truly enjoy Westport. Stay at least for 3 days to go sailing or ride horses. Ask Kyra about a new greenway they have in the area.
We enjoyed our wonderfull stay at Kyras (website hidden) was a warm welcome and we felt comfortable and homelike immediately. The house is very nice likewise the room comfortable and equiped and arranged with love. The recommended Restaurants and Pubs in Westport werde great and we Bad a fun night out. Thanks to Kyra and her family to make the stay that nice!I would absolutely recommend it:-)
Lovely house with beautiful host Kyra and lovely family. I would definitely recommend it.
Kyra was very welcoming and offered us a cup of tea on arrival. Greatly appreciated seeing as it had been a bit of a harrowing drive up from Galway with the snow, wind and ice!
Room was large with fantastic views over the bay and mountains. Breakfast was even better with everything you could ask for.
Kyra's place was a delight! The location right by Westport was our favorite around Ireland, and her property is warm and welcoming. She greeted us kindly even though we arrived earlier than anticipated, made us a cup of tea, chatted and gave some good advice for restaurants and pubs to try in town. She also very kindly offered a lift to town so we could have more drinks. If you stay here, treat yourself to a small climb up Croagh Patrick mountain to grab an awesome view of Clew Bay (not all the way up). Breakfast was a delightful selection of muesli, yogurt, and Irish breakfast. The dogs were very sweet, too!
