Lovely house with beautiful host Kyra and lovely family. I would definitely recommend it.
Kyra was very welcoming and offered us a cup of tea on arrival. Greatly appreciated seeing as it had been a bit of a harrowing drive up from Galway with the snow, wind and ice!
Room was large with fantastic views over the bay and mountains. Breakfast was even better with everything you could ask for.
Kyra's place was a delight! The location right by Westport was our favorite around Ireland, and her property is warm and welcoming. She greeted us kindly even though we arrived earlier than anticipated, made us a cup of tea, chatted and gave some good advice for restaurants and pubs to try in town. She also very kindly offered a lift to town so we could have more drinks. If you stay here, treat yourself to a small climb up Croagh Patrick mountain to grab an awesome view of Clew Bay (not all the way up). Breakfast was a delightful selection of muesli, yogurt, and Irish breakfast. The dogs were very sweet, too!
It was a great one-night-stay. The room is big, the interieur is nice. However, you have to love dogs because Kyra has to of them, but they are very lovely. Furthermore Kyra gave us very good advice (e. g. she recommended us the pub "The Helm" to have dinner - it was so great!). Thank you.
Kyra is a wonderful and welcoming host with plenty of knowledge on the local area. The room itself is spacious and boasts fantastic views of Croagh Patrick. The gardens are peaceful with ducks and hens roaming around freely. Kyra made us a tasty Irish breakfast each morning with sweet tomatoes grown in the garden, lovely homemade soda bread and locally sourced pudding which was the best I've ever tasted. My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay in Westport with Kyra and her family and would highly recommend her beautiful home as a place to stay.
Kyra is a very friendly and attentive host. She serves a delicious breakfast much of which is homemade. She is eager to make your stay enjoyable and has helpful suggestions for your visit. We enjoyed meeting her whole family who were home for the weekend. A wonderful local experience!
Kyra is a very welcoming host. We arrived later than planned, and Kyra was on her way out but she managed to settle us in before she left. We became acquainted when she returned and during breakfast. The home is large, welcoming, and filled with many family memories. The room is spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and bedding. Breakfast included a yummy soda bread...and the recipe!!
