Kyra and her husband are lovely hosts. Not only do they have a fantastic home in a very scenic location, but they'll make you feel right at home, have the best tips for what to do and see in the area and provide a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Kyra's house for one night. The house is really beautiful and not far from the Westport town centre, if you have a car. We were really comfortable there as the room and bathroom were really spacious and clean, but specially because Kyra's family was really nice and friendly to us. They were flexible with the check in time and also on what to offer us for breakfast. We would definitely go back if we are around the area again.

Kyra is a very nice, open, friendly and reliable person. She made me feel very comfortable in her home. The bedroom is spacious and cosy, breakfasts were abundant. The dogs are sweet. The neighbourhood is beautiful. I highly recommend the sea loving family home!

We were a few days in to our trip when our original reservation for this day cancelled and we were left to find another place to stay in the Westport area. Kyra and Gerry welcomed us in on a short notice. They have a great house tucked away a little outside of Westport. Very spacious bedroom with lovely views of Croagh Patrick. Gerry was so welcoming and accommodating offering us tea/coffee upon our arrival and a great breakfast in the morning! I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Westport area or looking to hike Croagh Patrick! Thank you again for the hospitality!!

Kyra and Jerry are a warm and welcoming couple and were full of helpful info about the local and regional sites to visit, tips to make the best of your adventures as well as great info on where to buy fruit, veg and snacks and a range of places to dine in Westport. It was our first Air B&B experience and I would say it felt a bit like staying with extended family who make you breakfast everyday, but leave you to your own devices. It's not like being in a hotel, more like staying with an aunt and uncle you've never met before. The room was spacious with a wardrobe and a couple of drawers for keeping our things in as we stayed four days there. The shower and bed were adequate and Kyra was happy to provide us with additional pillows for the bed when asked. The view of Croagh Patrick is lovely and there is a distant sea view from 'Amy's room' where we stayed. It's just a short 5km drive to Westport and we preferred the rural location as it's quite peaceful there. You can have full Irish breakfast or simply cereal, yogurt and fruit if you want. Definitely try the soda bread toasted with a little butter as it will really keep you going throughout the day. All in all, it was a nice place to stay and I would recommend it.
