    Response from Maala:

Thank you dear, you also made those two days a remarkable ones and shall wait for your next visit as promised, all the best

  • Hi. I am so happy because my first expérience with airbnb was at Maala's place. She's such a great and lovely person. She was like a Mother.
As she says in her profile, her place is a modest flat but u will really enjoy to stay there as she is such a great person and the house is clean.
She lives about ten min. Walking from the bus station to dubai. The taxi there is very cheap so u can move very easely.
    I really recommend her place.
Ah... and she is a great driver.
Thanks again Maals for the station drive and the rest and for sure we will meet again.
    Take care.

    Response from Maala:

Thank you dear, It was a real joy, you are such a wonderful friend and hope to see you again.
I hope you are enjoying your trip to Malasia, don't forget to send me the pictures you promised to.
take care and the best of luck to you

  • I expected a private bath. Although Maala is a lovely woman, the apartment is not in good condition and the area is not convenient. I would not recommend this for a single woman traveling alone.

    Response from Maala:

It seems that LeslieAnn did not read my profile, because I have already mentioned in it that I have ONLY ONE BATH ROOM AND WITH ONLY A SHOWER!! so why she is surprised???!!!!
I am sorry that leslie felt like this because from the other reviews you can tell that my room is clean and nice and my location!!; any one can check on the map how convenient it is.
I don't know why she said so.
and now I understand why my next guest Elva from china who met with leslie during checking out of leslie and checking in of Elva just decided to leave after only 20 minutes of her arrival!!!; I left them for few minutes in the hall and went to prepare the room for Elva and when I came my new guest told me she would like to leave for some reasons???

  • I did not wanted to leave Maala! She is a kind-hearted, funny, intelligent and charming woman, who speaks great English. The room is not a 5 star hotel one, but it is clean with a big closet and a great value for the experience you will have. She could lease a hole in the sand and I would go.

The breakfast is excellent and Maala and her husband are always offering food to their guests. Also, I was a little bit sick and she nursed me back to health. When they are available, Maala and her husband are always offering lifts so you do not have to take the taxi.

Because I was there on a weekend (Friday, Saturday), for a fee I went to Al Ain with Maala. I had so much fun! Since she speaks arabic, you will have a more local experience.

All in all, Abu Dhabi is a wonderful city and half of its charm is staying at Maala's place.

  • Hello! You are a perfect host.. Thank you for your great feedback.
We almost cried when we left. Now we have a completely different view of religious life in the arabic region.
We visited the oasis al-Ain. Maala offered a a really cheap price (27 euros per person for a day trip) and you cannot compare it to day tours in abu dhabi which are really expensive.
    She made breakfast every day.
Once we visited the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, which I think is the most impressive building I ever saw in my life and on the first day she took us to Heritage Village after having some sleep. Very convenient.
Maala loves chocolate so for the future guests :)) she will be pleased to get some sweets as a host-present.
for us: you are the best host in town - for sure! we <3 you!!!

  • I spent four great days at Maala's place! Maala is a great host. We talked, and exchanged a lot! I am really delighted I met her and I hope to stay in touch.
Also, I felt at home as she offered to use the living room, TV, kitchen, etc. and she also offered me food more than once!
The place itself is simple, clean and calm. I like the area, as you can buy everything downstairs and walk in the small streets around.
In brief, I definitely recommend staying at her place.

  • I spent 2 days with Maalla and I had a fabulous time! Maalla knows the best spots of the city, she drove me around and gave me a great tour. She is a genuine friendly open mind person and she has a great sense of humor. I would definitively recommend staying at her house.

  • Thankyou so very much Maalla.
What a gem you are. Such a generous person with personality to match. Hospitality beyond what is required or necessary. I enjoyed my time with you and would like to visit again as there's so much more to learn, see and do, with you or by myself.

    Response from Maala:

Thank you Heather, you were so wonderfull and energetic, you are insipring me.
You must come again, I shall be more than happy to host you again.

  • One word to express Maala: Arabian Mommy!
The room was cozy and clean and she also helped me a lot to find my next accomodation for long-term stay (I wish I could stay in Maala's home longer..Unluckily Maala's home is always booked out..). Maala is not just simply kind but intimate enough to go to the beach together by her car and even drive my friend to her destination and care for her accomodation!
    Thank you so much Maala.
Keep in touch during my stay in Abu Dhabi!

  • My stay was very short, but immensly enjoyable thanks to Maala. She picked me up at the airport and showed me the sights of Abu Dhabi within my restricted time frame. The room was comfortable and she provided great company and snacks. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed meeting Maala and getting some insight into life and the sights of Abu Dhabi.
