Interaction with Guests
My wife and I are both in our late 20's & early 30's and two years ago we traveled through central and south America. We enjoy meeting people from other places and we plan to interact with our guests as much as they would like.
Our house is 4 blocks away from Tampa Bay and Lassing Park which has a nice little beach. Plus when the tide goes out you can walk a fair distance into the water.
Our neighborhood is very artsy and eccentric. A lot of our neighbors have chickens and gardens and each house is very unique.
Close to Dali Museum, University of South Florida- St. Petersburg, Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, Downtown St. Petersburg
There is a bus stop on 4th street & 19th ave and this is about 1 block from my house. This route can take you all over the county or connect you with other routes and it this is route 4.
Greyhound bus station downtown St. Petersburg, 5 min. from the house
Clearwater & Tampa International Airport about 20min. from my house
At this time we do not allow pets inside the house
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves and we would encourage you to follow the rule of leaving things better then you found them.
We take pride in recycling and composting.
So, my very first experience with AirBnB was a complete success! I had a last minute change of plans and needed to relocate with short notice and even though Chris wasn't personally there to get me squared away, Joni stepped in got my room ready. When I arrived everyone was fixing dinner and invited me to join (which ended up being 2/3 nights I was there). I met some of the best people from all over the world and truly felt right at home. I thoroughly enjoyed the hostel and shared living space and would highly recommend staying there if you're in the area. As I will be relocating to the area in a few short months, I know I will now also have a few friends in the area as well. Thanks to each of you who made my stay one I'll never forget. :) Larissa
Nice and friendly as always. Very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended.
I felt very welcome at the International House. Location is close to downtown and USF-St. Pete.
Great Vibe! Very laid-back. Chris is a wonderful host. Check in and check out is very easy. The rooms are nice and the house manager, Joni, is very helpful. Enjoyed the stay.
Again, it was an outstanding and awesome experience to stay in your house. Thank you so much for hosting me and for a fun and great weekend.
Great host, made feel at home.
