Cathal's place was very nice. I had stayed in a couple other Airbnbs in the UK, and Cathal's place is definitely the largest, most modern, and most open. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the morning for breakfast, and the location was just perfect. If I had any complaints it was simply the construction down the road was pretty loud first thing in the morning, though there's not a whole lot that Cathal can do about that. But just be aware that while they're doing construction you will not be sleeping in. We also greatly struggled with how to use the dryer portion of the washer dryer combo. The instructions that were provided in English seemed to be pretty sparse and didn't give a lot of detail, and we couldn't find the manual online. It took almost four hours for us to run one tiny load, and they still didn't end up dry. This seems to be pretty common across all Airbnbs across the UK though, so it might be user error. Overall I was very satisfied with this place, and I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Ireland

The apartment is furnished well. The deck is a nice plus. The value is good. Though the hot shower runs out quickly and the walk to the nearest train is pretty far. Over all I would definitely recommend staying here.

The flat is in such a great location for walking access to many of the highlights in Dublin. The flat is very comfortable and I would highly recommend it for families. The kitchen was well stocked and the flat had everything we needed for our stay.

Cathal was wonderful, meeting us in the morning before check in time so that we could leave our luggage and then go explore Dublin. The apartment was in a nice quiet location, near the gorgeous water front area, although some cab drivers had a hard time finding it. Places to eat within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Only issues we had were with the washer/dryer combo (our clothes were locked in it for hours), and regulating the hot water. The hot water we finally got figured out (2 red lines was too hot and 1 red line not hot (URL HIDDEN) if you switched back and forth during your shower the water temp balanced out. We would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Dublin!! Thank you so much! (ps make sure to bring a few outlet converters, and as a side note for all of Ireland, there is no place in the bathrooms to plug in a blow dryer or curling iron)

Cathal is awesome and his place is just as great. Nice quiet residential area but close enough to the bars if you want to go out and have some fun. I 100% recommend the apartment to anyone traveling with a family. Cathal made sure there was a baby cot (pack n play) for our son to sleep in. Truly a great place to call home for a few days while in Dublin!

Hi, I am a Dubliner born and bred and love the city. If my family and I can help to make your trip to Dublin more enjoyable just ask. My wife, Gina, has put together a great tour guide which we leave in the apartment. Feel free to add any of your recommendations or tips.
