This smart four bedroom two bathroom flat takes up the entire top half of its apartment building on Plaza Cavana, which is the small square with bars and restaurants next to Nerja's emblematic Balcon de Europa. The apartment has private terraces with sea and mountain views, where you can sit and watch the world go by.
Bars, restaurants, beaches and shops are all on your doorstep, with everything in easy walking distance from the front door, making the flat ideal for couples or families.
The space
This smart four bedroom two bathroom flat sleeps eight people and is in the heart of unspoilt Nerja and has fibre optic broadband internet for those Zoom calls.
Two of the most picturesque beaches in Nerja, El Salon and Calahonda are both on your doorstep, being just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Everything you need to enjoy your stay in Nerja is within easy walking distance, with shops, bars, restaurants, beaches and the Tourist Information Office all within a few minutes walk.
The flat has private balconies from the lounge and three of the bedrooms, with views over Plaza Cavana and the Balcon de Europa towards the sea. The main balcony has a table and chairs where you can sit and have lunch or just drink a glass of wine listening to the music from the buskers down on the square below.
Neighbouring El Salon beach is down a gently sloping footpath and is ideal for families with children. There is a kiosk selling drinks and ice cream, sun loungers for hire, lifeguards in the summer months, showers and toilets. The beach has soft sand for the children to play in and the council hold an annual sand castle competition on the beach in the summer.
The flat is fully equipped for your stay in Nerja, with air-conditioning in all the bedrooms (for cooling in summer and heating during the winter months), broadband internet, Spanish and British TV (all included in the price).
The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, plus all you need to cook at home.
Some of the best bars and restaurants are right on your doorstep. For food, Tripadvisors Top 10 restaurants El Refugio, Gusto, Julie & Valeries and La Fuente are all within 100m of the apartment. For tapas the award winning Iberico is over the road, where you can sit outside during the summer months.
If you just want to stop for a drink or a coffee and watch the world go by, Kronox by the church is everyone's favourite and for spectacular views over El Salon beach and the glistening med, you can't do better than Cochran's terrace. A hidden gem next door to the flat is Marbella - you can eat or drink on the terrace on Plaza Cavana or go through the restaurant where you can sit overlooking the beach.
In the apartment itself, each bedroom is furnished with double or twin beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan and fitted wardrobes.
The family bathroom has a toilet, bath (with shower) and wash hand basin. The second bathroom has a toilet, shower and wash hand basin. The lounge has two comfortable sofas, TV and dining table and chairs which can seat four (or six people when extended).
Please note the flat is on the third floor with no lift and as such is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. There is parking nearby in the underground car park and a taxi rank at the end of the street. Nerja's bus station is an easy 10 minute walk from the apartment.
Guest access
You have exclusive use of the whole apartment, but the number of bedrooms we make available to you depends on the size of the group as follows:-
2 People - One bedroom (double or twin beds).
3-4 People Two bedrooms.
5-6 People Three bedrooms.
7-8 People Four bedrooms.
Please note during the summer we have a minimum booking policy of 4 or 6 people - please check with us first if you want to book for fewer people.
If you would like more bedrooms than our standard policy, please ask at the time of the booking and we can tell what the extra charges (if any) will be. These cover our additional cleaning, laundry, electricity and general property costs. By limiting the number of bedrooms we have to prepare and clean for guests, we can keep our costs down for smaller parties.
Late Checkout
If you need a late checkout please book an extra night. We can also recommend local left luggage places (we don't have storage facilities ourselves).
Other things to note
Please note the flat is on the third floor with no lift and as such is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Parking is available in the public underground car park 200m from the building (Plaza de España) - please note additional charges apply.
All the patio doors in the bedrooms have key operated child proof locks for families with younger children.
A cot and highchair is available - please message to book these - there is an additional charge for the hire of these items.
During August we only accept bookings for 8 people - you can book the flat with fewer people, but the rate is for the whole flat.
