This beautiful bright room is in the back of the house overlooking the garden.
If you want comfort and color, space and air, a view of the park and view of the amazing capital building, if you want a big TV with entertainment center and nice leather furniture, a state of the art kitchen with a built in breakfast nook overlooking the backyard, guitars to play, beautiful art and photographs on the walls, .......THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
There is a beautiful private park right outside the front door and a lovely back yard with a BBQ right outside of the back door. Just minutes from the bay bridge, public transportation, grocery stores, and a light walk to Haight-Ashbury, which has tons of restaurants and shops!
This apartment is located right in the middle of it all - 2 blocks to market, 2 blocks to Haight, 2 blocks to the mission, and 2 blocks to Hayes Valley - the possibilities are endless.
This is the perfect place for someone who wants to feel like they live in one of the most beautiful and cultural cities in America, and have a beautiful room to call their home, and to wake up at any hour you wish and not have house keeping knocking on the door.
This apartment is on the top floor of a 2 unit building. It is very safe and secure, with gated entry and passcode electronic locks.
We can negotiate a garage parking space if needed.
There are two more bedrooms available in this great apartment so if you have the need for more bedrooms then let me know!
There is one bathroom in the house shared between 3 guests. This is never an issue since everybody in the house has a different schedule.
I know you will love staying here as much as I have loved it.
This is your home! All guests have full access to all common areas including living room, kitchen, bathroom and back yard.
High-speed wifi included for all.
Interaction with Guests
You will share the space with other AirBnB guests, so everyone is on the same page. Resident manager close-by and please reach out if you need anything.
Hayes Valley is one of the more desirable neighborhoods in SF. Centrally located to Haight Ashbury, Castro, Alamo Square and the Mission - you are walking distance to an abundance of restaurants, music venues and boutiques.
Public transportation - including muni and BART all within walking distance. Street parking is available though make sure to familiarize yourself with parking in SF as it can be tricky and tickets are common. If you are a long-term guest it is possible to get a temporary resident parking permit.
Good resource below.....
The rules are pretty mellow, just be at home and be respectful to anyone else that might be there and everything works out great :)
As a general rule, its pretty simple, use common human courtesy. The house is shared with other guests so be considerate of your housemates. While we do have weekly cleanings, lend a hand and clean up after yourself! Ya know, after cooking and when you use the bathroom is expected. And after 10pm, try to watch the noise.
The calm and well situated Hayes Valley location together with the great decoration make this apartment awesome! Very clean and generous space as well, all you could wish for.
During the month I was here, Scott was very responsive when something came up.
Go for it!
2nd time staying here. Great place. Close to Muni and delicious restaurants.
I travel a lot for work and will stay here every time I come in to town.
Scott was a great host, and his apartment was really really great for several reasons - perfect location, easy access to MUNI (total 20 min commute to Financial District), cool furnishings, etc.
Scott made it very easy for to find and access the apartment. He was reachable and communicative and I had a great experience from the start. The apartment was in an excellent location and the shared spaces were ever better than I expected. I would absolutely stay here again.
Scott was a great host and always available by phone. The apartment has 3 rooms, so you'll meet different people through your stay. I stayed for a little over 3 weeks and met few people who I'll probably stay in touch with. The apartment is clean and gorgeous. Neighborhood is safe and near a lot of cool areas. I moved to SF so it was a great way for me to check out the neighborhoods.
I only met scott very briefly upon check in.
Apartment was nice and as pictured. Neighbourhood felt relatively safe at night as a lone female traveller. Very close to 71 and 6 bus routes, literally around the corner.
Bit noisy during my stay most mornings due to renovations in the apartment below beginning 630-8am, but that's out of Scotts hands. May have been good to know prior however.
The house is really gorgeous, very cool design and beautiful furnishings, and the garden with the BBQ is surely a plus! The location is also very good: Hayes Valley, many nice restaurants, some bars, nice people around, close to Castro and Mission.
Note that it is also quite close to Tenderloin and so there are many homeless around, but they are friendly and I never saw that as an issue. I spent 3 months there, and I was a walking distance from my job, so it was perfect for me.
Scott is very friendly, I didn't meet him when I arrived, but he is used to show up sometimes, to see how everything is going, so I had some chances to chat with him!
I would say that there are only two drawbacks in my views, first there are not washing and dryer, even if there are few closer, I think it's very uncomfortable. The second one is that in three months the house has not always been well cleaned.
Anyway, I'm really happy for my staying there, and I feel to recommend this place.
