The Milky way hangs out right above the Yurt-
Mixing metal and wood, the yurt has a cozy cabin feel- this is a romantic get away, a fun family adventure spot, a place where friends come to make memories or a quiet beautiful space to have peace by yourself.

The space
My husband and I built the Yurt in 2013 debt free to be a home for our tiny growing family. We have great memories as we built it together and with friends, I was pregnant with my son as I peeled the poles that hold up the roof our friends gathered for a house raising one day and we really couldn’t have built the Yurt without their friendships.
Living in the Yurt we had minimal space, so we had minimal things and that constantly drew us outside to enjoy Gods creation and focus on what was really important- our relationships. I hope this space draws everyone closer together.
Now the Yurt has one queen bed on the main floor, king bed in the loft and a queen size air mattress.
Set up like a studio apartment it's open to the kitchen area and living space.
The back area includes a washer and dryer ( detergent included).
The yurt has a full bathroom with a bathtub ( shampoo and conditioner included).

Other things to note
The main source of heat is an electric heat pump- there is also a wood stove you may use if experienced with wood stoves- firewood can be purchased from the local grocery store in Superior along with starter.
This Yurt has a skylight that is prone to condensation drips during severe snowy or rainy weather.
Please use the bed in the loft if it drips on the lower bed.

Born and Raised in Missoula, Montana I have a natural love for the great outdoors. My husband and I built our first Airbnb in 2013- the Northern MT Yurt. As our family grew we listed it in 2018 and thus started my passion for hosting and a desire to share the area with guests. We are now the owners and operators of Homestead Management. Managing both long and short term rentals. I am always available via text my husband is always available to call. I work from home, I love coffee, cooking with huckleberries and morels, home schooling my 5 kiddos, everything outside and spending time with my beloved husband.
