Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Thresholds is a historic guest suite in the heart of Bluemont, a charming village close to wineries, breweries, the Appalachian Trail, and the Shenandoah River. We are very close to historic Harper's Ferry. The wineries and breweries are all OPEN and many have live music events.
Our bedrooms are cool and comfortable. Our little coffee room is fully stocked with coffee, tea and various soft drinks. There is a cube refrigerator to keep things cold.

The space
Guest suite includes two beautiful connecting bedrooms each with queen beds and a private full bath. The adjacent sitting room is the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or tea. After an afternoon of sightseeing, enjoy beverages on the beautiful front porch swing.
Bluemont is a beautiful historic village. Across the street there is a charming general store that has a little bit of everything. You can also get a hot breakfast sandwich there in the morning.
The E.E. Lake Store will open soon as a tourist center for Bluemont. You can find all kinds of information about the area. Also every Sunday during the summer there is a farmer's market with a little bit of everything!

Bluemont, Virginia, United States

The guest suite is directly across from the Bluemont General Store and walking distance to E.E. Lake Store, which will serve as an information center for the community. Plenty of eating options close-by.
The town has a lot of charm and is very historic. For instance there is the Snickersville Academy, which used to be the only school house in the area. It was also a home at one time. The Academy has been restored to the schoolhouse days and is maintained by the Citizens of Bluemont.
