Perfect location on Pedro de Osma Avenue. Close to all the cafes, galleries, restaurants and 1 block to the cliff overlooking the beach. Also easy access to public transportation and Metropolitano. high speed wifi & cleaning

The space

The studio is on the first floor with very easy access. Mattres and pillows are very comfortable and in great shape. It is very spacious and has all what you need to enjoy your time in Lima.
The apartment is not for people very sensitive to noise or light sleepers since it is on a main avenue and it can get loud sometimes.

Guest access

Everything, the apartment is completely independent

Interaction with guests

We can always talk on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), where you can find me 24/7
DO YOU NEED ANY HELP TO GO OR WHILE YOU ARE IN CUSCO?
I don't have a travel agency but I know one that has an excellent service with very competitive prices. Let me know and I will introduce you.

Other things to note

You should keep in mind that the apartment is on a great location but also on a main avenue with traffic and noise. If you are very sensitive to that consider bringing an earplug.

The location was exactly where we wanted to be. We stayed at another Airbnb at the start of our trip in Peru, but sadly it wasn't available when we came back to Lima the second time around. We were thrilled to find that this new place was actually in the same building. I can't rave about the location enough. The windows however, are paper thin. Throughout the day and night it feels like the entire studio is shaking from the cars zooming by and honking their horns.

Daniels place is very poorly represented. The pictures make it look much better than it actually is and for this price I expected a lot more. It is just a dirty old apartment that is falling apart. The lock on the door was falling off the frame when we arrived and was not safe. After leaving the host accused us of breaking down the door and made us pay for it. Not only that but the whole apartment reeks of mold, there are bugs everywhere and the towels and sheets on the bed are old and dirty. The street is very noisy also. Daniel is a very hostile person and was not the least bit helpful. This place is simply not fit to be rented on Airbnb.

In short: great location, friendly host, wifi didn't work, host couldn't be reached, place smelled strongly of mildew. Location is great! Barranco is a fun, hip neighborhood with easy access to the rest of Lima. We explored the city, and we liked Barranco best. Daniel's place is just a couple blocks from the center of Barranco. Daniel was very friendly leading up to our trip, when we could reach him. He also left us with a sheet of helpful tips and information. However, we weren't able to reach him at all during our stay, which was problematic, since the wifi didn't work. The only network to which we could connect routed us to a login page in Spanish that needed payment or credentials, which we did not have. The apartment smelled strongly of mildew and was not as clean as the photo suggests. Luckily, the temperature was comfortable, so we were able to sleep with the window open for ventilation. There is significant noise and vibration from the road outside, but we played white noise from an app and slept fine. The bathroom is very small - we had to sort of sit sideways on the toilet - but this wasn't a big deal. Had the wifi worked and there not been the mildew smell, this would have been a perfect spot for our needs and price range. We enjoyed our stay regardless.

Daniel was very helpful and responsive, and getting the keys was very easy, even though our flight go in late, and we were thrilled to see how convenient the location was to the main plaza. However, the apartment was not only loud, it shook with passing traffic. Additionally, the front door lock was difficult to navigate, and though there was hot water in the shower, you could only have hot water with no water pressure. I would stay there again because of the location, but come with different expectations, and ear plugs.

Daniel's apartment was generally as described, and definitely in a great location in Barranco. Daniel provided blankets that were sufficient in the chilly weather (we visited in late August, which is winter or early spring in Lima, and the apartment is not heated). Towels, hand soap, toilet paper, tea bags, and an electric tea kettle were available as well, which was nice. The internet was reliable. The hot water in the shower was present as described (Daniel left information for us which told us that it works only at low water pressure - this was true!), but it was a bit unreliable at times. As for location, there are nice cafés within close walking distance to start off your mornings, and we also had great access to the city bus station and some nice views and destinations in Barranco itself. The neighborhood also has great bars and decent restaurants for going out at night. One major thing to note is that the apartment may not be ideal for light sleepers who don't want to get up super early - the apartment is on the ground floor next to a moderately busy road, and the windows reverberate with every passing vehicle. This wasn't a major problem for us since my friend and I are moderately heavy sleepers, but light sleepers may find it bothersome. Overall, we had a great stay for a reasonable price, in a great neighborhood!

It was very nice experience, the studio is located in a excellent location, and to add A+ to this place we only rent for one week at the beginning,we like the place so much that we decide to extend the time for one more week, all the fun you imaging is very close to the studio, my wife and I we walk around and believe me the studio is located in a very safe place of lima, now i will tell you who is DANIEL THE OWNER OF THE STUDIO, he will take care of all you needs and when i said all means all, Like i said the place is located in a very safe are, feel safe to let your kids in this case my son walk in the PARQUE MUNICIPAL DE BARRANCO (Barranco municipal park) and have the tranquility to know that they will be back to the studio safe. Only one recommendation.... bring ear plugs the traffic is loud at nights, but when you get back from be out side and enjoy all barranco as to offer believe me you will not need earplugs DANIEL GRACIAS POR TODA TU AYUDA PARA QUE MI FAMILIA GOSARA PERUUU

Daniel's studio was a great place to get to experience Lima. It is in an amazing location in Barranco just a short walk from amazing restaurants, bars, and museums. The noise from the street can get a little loud so take that into account if you aren't used to Street noise!
