Interaction with Guests
I'm living in Marrakech all year long since 2006, since the creation and It is essential for me to greet my guests myself, helped by my wonderful small team. So, i'm at the Riad nearly everyday at breakfast time usually to have the chance to meet each of my guests, checking that everything is fine and paying attention to their requests and needs, as much as i can.
What i love about my neighborhood is its excellent location inside the old Medina, which allows the new visitors to find their way without my help very quickely. This neighborhood located between Smarinne street and Mou
Main transport are at only 5 minutes walk from my riad, Taxis, local buses, horse carriages.

Our host Cathy was charming and made us feel very welcome. There is also a day housekeeper Sala who is lovely and a night housekeeper Ali who is also fantastic. Everything is exactly as shown in the photos in fact the living area is even prettier.
The area the riad is in is extremely close to the markets but the area is very quiet and at night you can't hear a sound. There are lovely restaurants nearby and many of them have roof terraces which are great. You are about 5 mins walk away from the main square the grand mosque taxis and horses and carriages.
If you don't want to eat out you can book Moona to cook something for you and even take a cooking class if you want and then dine on what you have prepared.
If you have a terrible sense of direction like me Ali will walk you to the restaurants at night and then you just call the riad and he will come and walk you home.
As we were there on our own it was very quiet and private for us however if the whole riad was booked it may be noisier depending on the other guests. We loved every minute of our stay and absolutely recommend it.

Cathy runs to loveliest riad! We stayed in quite a few riads while in Morocco, and we loved this one best -- the room was spacious and well heated, the patio was wonderful, and the staff were above and beyond fantastic.
We stayed for a week, and enjoyed several home cooked meals (extra cost, but quite reasonable), a lovely evening by the fireplace, and many delicious breakfasts! When we were missing a few essentials (power converter) the staff was more than willing to walk us to the correct place to buy one.
It is well worth taking Cathy up on the offer to have someone pick you up at the airport. The taxi dropped us off at Jemma El Fna, and having Ali meet us there to walk us to the riad saved quite a lot of hassle in trying to find it in the medina, at night, by ourselves.
Thank you Cathy for the wonderful visit, it was a pleasure, I hope to be back soon.
Marrakech is one of the most beautiful cities one can imagine. And thanks to Cathy and her team a trip to Marrakech turns into one of the best vacations you can imagine. :)
The Riad is located within the medina. After we've dropped our car at the Sofitel in Marrakech Cathy gave us very good directions - Salah the housekeeper picked us up at the big square and guided us through the medina to the beautiful Riad. At first you'll have the impression that you'll never find back but once you get used to the small paths you will love it. The Riad itself has a nice terrace and very clean and cosy rooms. What it made really special was the team - they helped whenever help was needed but without being intrusive. The food was super although we didn't eat in the Riad - breakfast was always fresh and brought to us with a smile. I would stay there again and I would highly recommend the Riad.

About the Host, Cathy & Dany
Dany and Cathy are mother and daughter; We are both very fond of Morocco and Marrakesh where I'm (Cathy) living all year long since 2006, taking care of the Riad and my Guests personally with my team, sharing time with the guests ,giving them suggestions and good adresses to go , to visit inside Marrakesh ,the surroundings and the desert.
We both like travels, sharing experience with different people and learning about different cultures.
My House has a traditional style, because I wanted it like this, all the furniture and decoration have been made by the Marrakchi craftsmen, and I keep on buying things in the Market around the Riad.
i wish more and more people will keep on visiting Morocco and Marrakesh in the future, coming to my Riad and sharing with them my own experience which brings to me happiness, and peace.
